Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.

PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.

Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.

A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and

remember to cut away from yourself at all times.

During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place

while you allow glue to dry.

Remove the deck and the three frames from the

sprue.

Glue them together as shown, with etched detail

facing inwards.

Take the ramp.

Place one lug into the circular gap in the frame then

gently flex the opposite frame until you can slide the

other lug into position.

The outer skin of the vessel.

Glue the pieces into poace as shown above.

These parts form the two latches.

Glue the short end of an axle into the hole (see pic)

Place (do not glue) the lever over the axle.

Glue the top piece to the axle being careful not to get

any glue on the lever.

Repeat these steps for the latch on the other side of

the vessel.

Glue the frame inside the ramp.

Add the rear paddles.

The finished model.

When the ramp is closed, you can lock it into place using the two latches (see pic above), then to release the

ramp gently push the two levers backwards.
