Axis Visitor Entry enables you to use QR Codes as credentials to grant access. Distribute QR Codes easily to cardholders or visitors via email, and they can use them to open doors with an Axis intercom and camera running the AXIS Barcode Reader application. It supports both IP address and OSDP/Wiegand connections to door controllers and provides flexible configuration options for emails, including adding macros to the message body. 2.6ConguretheVAPIXDoorControllersettingsaccordingtotherelevantdoorcontrollerconguration.
3.InGenetecSecurityCenter,congureanemailservertoautomaticallysendQRCodes.

CreateaQRCode
1.InSecurityDesk,clickAddQRCredential.
AnewQRCodeisgeneratedandshowninapopupwindow.
2.ClickOK.NowanemailissenttotheregisteredemailfortheCardholder/Visitor.YoucanalsocopytheQRCodetothe
clipboardandsenditusingsomeothermethod.
-Thecreatedcredentialwillhavethe:
-Name“QR_[customername]'scredential”.
-Type“Card”
-Format“CSN32”
-YoucanonlycreateoneQRcredentialforeachCardholder/Visitor.IfyoutrytoaddanewQRcredentialwhen
onealreadyexists,theexistingQRcredentialisshown.
ViewacredentialdirectlyaftercreatinganewQRCode
ToviewacredentialdirectlyaftercreatinganewQRCode,youmust:
1.ClosetheCardholder/Visitorwindow.
2.OpentheCardholder/Visitorwindowagaintorefreshit.
GenerateanewQRCodewhenacredentialalreadyexists
TogenerateanewQRCodewhenacredentialalreadyexists,youmust:
1.Removetheexistingcredential.
2.ClickAddQRCredentialagain.
Congureoptions
Ifyouhaveadministratorrights,youcanyoucancongurethefollowinginOptions>AXISVisitorEntry:
•Subject:Subjectoftheemail
•CC:Sendacopytoaspecicaddress
•BCC:Ifenabled,therecipientofthecopyishiddenfromtherecipientoftheemail.
•Text:Thedefaulttextoftheemail.ClickAddtoaddspecicmacrostotheemail,forexampleName.
•Sende-mailwhenclosed:Ifenabled,ane-mailissentautomaticallywhenyouclosetheQRCodepop-upwindow.
