Quick Start Guide
Use “Scan2PC Manager” Software (scan directly to PC)
Double-click on
PDSCAN/
Pandigital/Ulity/
Scan2PC_Setup_
Vxxxx.exe
Insert Pandigital SD
card (included with
scanner), and then
power on.
Scan to PC Manager
window opens.
Select Scan2PC,
set locaon to save
scanned images,
and then click Apply.
Scan your photos or
filmstrips. The scanned
images will be saved in
PHOTO1 folder.

Connect to PC (access scanned images on memory card)

Insert memory card
and power on
Connect USB cable Windows Vista
Select “Always do
this...” and “Open
folder to view files”
Windows XP
Select “Open folder
to view files...”
In the Windows Explorer
window, double-click on
the drive associated with
the scanner (i.e., PDSCAN),
and PHOTO1 folder which
contains the scanned images.

and flat into feed slot.

Connect USB cable
A Windows Explorer
window will open

Note:
To avoid changing Windows Explorer sengs on your PC,
scan all photos before connecng USB cable to PC to complete transfer.
It is recommended to use
the plasc sheath for old
photos or for those that
may be slightly curled

Scan 35mm Negatives & Unmounted Slides (directly onto memory card)
The filmstrip or slide
will be fed into the slot
and scanned.

Plug in, insert memory
card, and power on
as per steps 1-3 above.

Power/Status card
light will flash as
scan is processed.
Wait for
blinking
to stop
before
inserng
another filmstrip
Slide the paper guide
lever all the way to
the right side of the
feeding slot.

Align the negave &
slide adapter with the
grooves and then
gently insert all the way
into the feeding slot.
Wait unl lights are in
ready state, and then
insert the negave or
unmounted slide into
the adapter.
Be careful not to bend
the metal parts on the
adapter
