Please follow the instructions below to withdraw and return your iX-1 mailing system.
The meter withdrawal transfers downloaded unused postage funds downloaded into the meter from the
meter to your Postage Funding Account.
Please note: once the meter withdrawal is complete, your meter will be automatically deactivated with
Quadient Inc. You are required to return the meter promptly.
The system withdrawal process consists of the
following procedures:
• Performing a Meter Audit
• Printing the Register Summary on a label
• Performing the Meter Withdrawal
• Completing the Return

Ensure the mailing system is
connected to the internet.

1Perform a meter postal inspection
Press the key.
Press the key and follow
the screen prompts.
Select to begin the transac-
tion. Please wait a few minutes for
the transaction to complete.
When the postal inspection
shows “transaction successfull”
select
USB printer
Select Label and press the
button.
Allow the report to generate.
Insert an envelope or label to
automatically print the summary
report.
Press the button to power
OFF the machine.
Retain the printed Funds
Summary for your records.
Select Postal Inspection and press
the button.

Enter the withdrawal PIN code,
733863 and press the button.
The system will call the server and
return any unused funds to your
account – do not interrupt the
process.
When the withdrawal process is
complete, press the button.
Select Withdraw and press
the button.
Select Postal Tools and press
the button.
Select Supervisor and press

Enter the PIN code 17930 and

• Postage Meter
• Ink Cartridge
• Power Supply
• Internet Cable
• Weighing Platform

Return the meter and any corresponding equipment to the
Quadient Inc Return Center. Retain a copy of the tracking
number(s) for your records. If you fail to return the equipment
within ten business days, you will be charged the full
replacement value of the equipment.
