and requirements, consult a qualied electrician.

FUTURE REFERENCE

• Prior to installation, store luminaire in a dry location

protected from rain, dust, and outdoor environment. If

equipped with a photocell receptacle, remove the protective

cover only if immediately replacing with a suitable photocell,

shorting cap, or other compatible device. The protective

socket cover is not intended to remain in place after

installation. Do NOT leave receptacle open to environmental

elements. Luminaires with a top-mounted photocell

receptacle should not be installed in an up-light position or at

a tilt greater than 45 degrees from the down-light position.

Mounting Kit Package.

FIELD ADJUSTABLE DIMMING  (OPTIONAL)

NOTE: This luminaire may be provided with field adjustable dimming.

If so, luminaires leave the factory adjusted to the maximum setting

specified when ordered. Visit www.creelighting.com/products for

product specification sheets.

STEP 1:

The Dimming module is located inside the luminaire. Open the

luminaire door cover by loosening the (7) screws. See Figure 1.

STEP 2:

Establish the desired input power multiplier by referring to the product

dimming spec sheet and turn the switch to the correlating position

STEP 3:

Adjust the Dimming Module, see Figure 2, to the selected position and

reinstall the cover ensuring no wires are pinched. Torque screws to

23 in-lbs (2.6 N-m).

BLUETOOTH® TECHNOLOGY ENABLED MULTILEVEL SENSOR

(OPTIONAL)

The 20’ to 40’ sensor lens comes installed on the sensor on the OSQ

luminaires. An 8’ to 20’ sensor lens and aisle shroud may be found in the

hardware bag. To change the lens, unscrew the existing lens, remove the

shroud from the replacement lens and screw it back on to the sensor.

Configuration is made using the Leviton Smart Sensor App from a

smartphone or other Bluetooth® enabled Android or iOS device. The

Smart Sensor App can be downloaded from either Goggle Play or Apple

Store.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

STEP 1:

NOTE: Luminaires with BML sensor will have the dimming leads

capped off. Keep the dimming leads on these luminaires capped

off.

Using Listed 90°C minimum rated wire connectors make the

following electrical connections within the adjustable fitter

wiring compartment:

a. For 120/277/347V connect the black fixture lead to the

voltage supply or Hot 1 (for 208/240/480V wiring).

b. For 120/277/347V connect the white fixture lead to the

neutral supply or Hot 2 (for 208/240/480V wiring).

c. Connect the green or green/yellow ground lead to

ground.

d. If fixture ordered with –F fuse option (Single-Phase

connection only)

• Connect the black fixture lead to the voltage supply.

• Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral supply.

• Connect the green or green/yellow ground lead to

ground.

e. If Dimming is an option; connect the violet dimming

positive fixture lead to the supply dimming positive lead.

If dimming is not being used, cap off the violet lead.

f. If Dimming is an option; connect the pink dimming

negative fixture lead to the supply dimming negative lead.

If dimming is not being used, cap off the pink lead.

g. Connect orange fixture lead to orange supply lead.

h. Connect red fixture lead to brown supply lead.

NEMA® RECEPTACLE (OPTIONAL)

PLEASE READ: The method for rotating this NEMA

receptacle is different than other Cree Lighting Products.

Rotation of the photocontrol receptacle after photocontrol

installation is not recommended. This may disengage the

electrical contacts, compromise the seal, or damage the

photocontrol.

STEP 1:

Remove protective cap.

STEP 2:

If necessary, rotate photocontrol receptacle so the arrow is

pointed in the north direction. Some photocontrols operate

best when aimed between the north-west and north-

east direction. To rotate, lift upwards on the photocontrol

receptacle to disengage the internal lock, rotate, and then

release the photocontrol receptacle to return it to the

locked position. Ensure that the photocontrol receptacle

has returned to the fully locked position.

STEP 3:

Install photocontrol into photocontrol receptacle by

inserting the blades into the receptacle and turning

clockwise. Ensure that the photocontrol is fully

locked in place by gently pulling upwards. Less than

full engagement of the photocontrol may result in a

compromised seal.

NOTE: Some versions are provided with full circuit board, but not fully populated with

LEDs or optics to scale back lumen package.
