• Read all the instructions carefully before

Damage
• Please inspect the unit for damage after
unpacking.
• Do not continue to operate the unit if you
are in any doubt about it working normally,
or if it is damaged in any way - switch o,
withdraw the mains adapter and consult
your dealer.
Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable
surface and not subjected to vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable
surfaces as the unit may fall o or tip over.
• The mains socket must be located near the
unit and should be easily accessible.
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature,
either hot or cold. Place the unit well away
from heat sources such as radiators or gas /
electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other
sources of heat.
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked
ame on the top of or near the unit.
Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or
product damage, do not expose this unit
to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. No
objects lled with liquids, such as vases,
should be placed on the unit.
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can
cause serious damage. Switch it o at the
mains immediately. Withdraw the mains
plug and consult your dealer.
Ventilation
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or
re hazard due to overheating, ensure
that curtains and other materials do not
obstruct the ventilation vents.
Safety Warnings
• A minimum distance of 5 cm around the
unit should be maintained to allow for
sucient ventilation.
• Do not install or place this unit in a
bookcase, built-in cabinet or in another
conned space. Ensure the unit is well
ventilated.
Safety
• Always disconnect the unit from the mains
supply before connecting / disconnecting
other devices or moving the unit.
• Unplug the unit from the mains socket
during a lightning storm.
• In the interests of safety and to avoid
unnecessary energy consumption,
never leave the unit switched on while
unattended for long periods of time, e.g.
overnight, while on holiday or while out of
the house. Switch it o and disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket.
Mains Adapter Cable
• Make sure the unit or unit stand is not
resting on top of the mains adapter cable,
as the weight of the unit may damage the
cable and create a safety hazard.
Mains Adapter
• The mains adapter will continue to draw
electricity from the mains supply when
plugged in the mains socket. In the
interests of safety and to avoid unnecessary
energy consumption, never leave the
adapter plugged in the mains socket
while unattended for long periods of time.
Disconnect the adapter from the power
supply.
Interference
• Do not place the unit on or near appliances
which may cause electromagnetic
interference. If you do, it may adversely
aect the working of the unit, and cause a
distorted sound.
Earphones
• Listening to loud sounds for
prolonged periods of time may
permanently damage your hearing.
• Before putting on earphones, turn the
volume down then put the earphones on
and slowly increase the volume until you
reach a comfortable listening level.

Batteries
• Batteries used in the unit are easily
swallowed by young children and this is
dangerous.
• Keep loose batteries away from young
children and make sure that the battery
holder tray is secure in the unit. Seek
medical advice if you believe
a cell has been swallowed.
• Please dispose of batteries correctly by
following the guidance in this manual.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight
or sources of excessive heat.
Supervision
• Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the unit.
• Never let anyone especially children push
anything into the holes, slots or any other
openings in the case - this could result in a
fatal electric shock.

Battery Replacement for the Remote Control
The remote control requires a CR2025, 3V Lithium battery.
1. Pull out the battery holder and remove the old
battery.
2. Replace with a new battery.
3. Insert the battery holder back into the remote
control.
Removing the Insulating Strip from the
Remote Control
Remove the insulating mylar strip from the battery
if the battery is being used for the rst time. It is
located at the bottom back side of the remote
control.

Remote Control Operation Range
Point the remote control at the DVD Player no more than
3 metres from the remote control sensor and within 40° of
the front of the DVD Player. The operating distance may
vary depending on the brightness of the room.
Handling the Battery
• Improper or incorrect use of batteries may cause corrosion or battery leakage,
which could cause re, personal injury or damage to property.
• Install the battery correctly by following the polarity (+ and –) indications in
the battery compartment.
• When the battery is exhausted, the remote control will not function.
• Only use the battery type indicated in this manual.
• Do not dispose of the used battery as domestic waste. Dispose of it in
accordance with the local regulations.
• Small button cell batteries such as the one used in the remote control are
easily swallowed by young children and this is dangerous. Keep loose button
cells away from young children and make sure that the battery holder tray
is secure in the remote control. Seek medical advice if you believe a cell has
been swallowed.
Handling the Remote Control
• Take care of your ngernails when you press and hold the battery release tab.
• Do not drop or cause impact on the remote control.
• Do not spill water or any liquid on the remote control.
• Do not place the remote control on a wet object.
• Do not place the remote control under direct sunlight or near sources of
excessive heat.
• Remove the battery from the remote control when not in use for a long
period of time, as it could cause corrosion or battery leakage and may result in
physical injury and/or property damage including re.

1. Place the unit into the Carry Bag as shown below
Mounting the DVD Player in a Car
Use the supplied Carry Bag, Strap A and Strap B to install the DVD players on the back of the
vehicles headrest.
2. Insert the Strap A and Strap B onto the Carry Bag as shown below.
3. Attach the Carry Bag with Strap A to the headrest support as shown below. Fasten the
buckle on the strap.

After the unit is placed into the Carry Bag as shown above or the LCD Screen is
adjusted to 180°, you can only use the control panel on the player to operate the
unit.

4. Attach the Carry Bag with Strap B to the car seat.

5. After the Carry Bag is securely attached to the car seat, connect the Car Power Adapter
as shown below.
• This unit should never be used by the vehicles driver or left unsecured in the
vehicle while driving.
• If this unit is being used in your vehicle, be sure that it is securely xed to the
headrests’ leg supports or held safely, and does not obstruct any safety device,
including air bags or seat belts, or it may cause injury in case of accidents.
Ensure all rear passengers are correctly restrained when this product is in use in
the car.
• All passengers should always wear seat belts when using this unit in a moving
vehicle.
• If in doubt, please contact your vehicle manufacturer for further advice.

Power Supply
Mains Power (for indoor use)
• Connect the Mains Adapter to a mains supply of 100-240 Volt AC. Make sure that the
adapter is fully plugged into the mains socket. The unit is now connected with a power
source and ready to use.
• Unplug the adapter from the mains socket to disconnect the power supply completely.

• Turn o the unit before unplugging the Mains Adapter adapter from the unit
to avoid damaging the unit.
• The mains socket must be located near the unit and should be easily accessible.
If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the plug from the mains socket at once.
• When the mains adapter is plugged in, the unit is not completely disconnected
from the mains power source, even when the unit is turned o.
• The Mains Adapter included with this unit is for its use only. Do not use it with
other equipment.
• Turn o the unit before unplugging the adapter from the unit so as to avoid
the unit being damaged.
• When the unit is not going to be used for long time, disconnect the adapter
from the mains socket.
• The unit shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. Do not place any
objects lled with liquids, such as vases on the unit.
• The adapter should not be obstructed, and it should be easily accessed during
intended use.

Using the Car Power Adapter (for in-car use)
Connect the 12V Car Power Adapter (included) to the Cigarette Lighter Socket of the
vehicles with a 12V negative ground electrical system.

Fuse Replacement
Press and hold the buttons of the Car Power Adapter. Rotate to release its cover. Replace the
fuse and then relocate its cover.
• Disconnect the car power adapter when not in use.
• Use the provided 12V car power adapter only. Using other car power adapters
could damage the unit.
• In the interest of trac safety, do not operate this unit or view videos while
driving.
• Make sure the unit is securely fastened to prevent it from falling or ying
through the air in the event of an accident.
• When the inside of the cigarette lighter socket is dirty with ash or dust, the
plug section may become hot due to poor contact. Be sure to clean the
cigarette lighter socket before use.
• After use, disconnect the 12V car power adapter from both the unit and the
cigarette lighter socket.

Using the Built-in Battery
Charge the built-in battery before using it for the rst time. Slide the /STANDBY/ON
Switch to position. Use the Mains Adapter to connect the mains socket. While the unit is
charging, the LED Indicator lights up red. The normal charging time should be 2-3.5 hours.
The charging light will go out when the built-in battery is fully charged.
• The built-in battery can only be recharged when the unit is in CHARGE mode
while using the mains adapter.
• The built-in battery cannot be recharged when the unit is in power ON mode.
• When the built-in battery power is low, Battery Low will display on the screen
and the unit will stop playing.
• Turn o the unit while charging the battery.
• While using the built-in battery, the environmental temperature should be 5°C
(41°F) to 35°C (95°F).
• To get the longest service life of the built-in battery, charge at indoor-
temperature.
• The built-in battery in this device may present a risk of re or chemical burn if
mistreated. Do not disassemble, heat above 100°C (212°F), or incinerate.
• The unit should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the
like.
• When discarding the unit, environmental problems must be considered and
local rules or laws governing the disposal of such products must be strictly
followed.

Auto Sleep Mode
When the unit is not in use after about 6 minutes, a screen saver will show on the LED
Screen. If the unit is not used for a further 10 minutes, the unit will enter auto sleep mode
with a one minute countdown. The LCD screen will show XX Seconds to Auto Sleep
Please press to cancel Auto Sleep. Once the unit enters Auto Sleep Mode, slide the /
STANDBY/ON switch to STANDBY position, and then back to ON position again.
• Make sure that the correct Audio/Video cable is used. Connecting the plugs
incorrectly may cause a weak signal.
• If your TV does not have Audio/Video inputs, you will need to purchase an
RF modulator (sold separately) and follow the instructions included with it to
connect the unit to your TV.

Watching a DVD on your TV
1. Turn on the DVD player.
2. Turn on the TV and set its source to AV or similar (see the TV instruction manual for
details).

Listening with an External Audio Device
After connecting the DVD player to the audio device, Turn on your audio device and follow
the instructions provided with it to select the AUDIO IN function.
• Make sure to use the correct audio cable. Connecting the plugs incorrectly may
cause a weak signal.
• If you have a stereo VCR, make sure you set it to stereo mode.
• Due to copyright protection, DVD movies cannot be copied. If you copy a DVD
movie onto a videotape, the resulting copy will be unclear, with poor sound
quality. This is NOT caused by a defective DVD system.
Long-term exposure to loud music may
cause hearing damage. It is best to avoid
extreme volume when using earphones,
especially for extended periods.
Using Earphones/Headphones
Turn down the volume before connecting the earphones/headphones. Slowly raise the
volume with the earphones/headphones on until you reach your desired volume. When
earphones/headphones are connected, the speakers automatically mutes.
Connecting a Stereo Receiver or Amplier
Connect the DVD player to a stereo receiver or amplier with a RCA stereo audio cable (not
included).

Sound System
Dolby Digital
Dolby Digital is a technology developed by Dolby Laboratories. Soundtracks encoded in
Dolby Digital can reproduce from one to 5.1 discrete channels of excellent quality audio.
The unit automatically recognizes the Dolby Digital bitstream and provides a downmix
suitable for two-channel listening. An additional Dolby Digital decoder is required for
reproduction of the discrete multi-channel soundtracks available on many DVDs.
Manufactured under license from Dolby Laboratories. "Dolby" and the double-D symbol are
trademarks of Dolby Laboratories.

Disc Type DVD-VIDEO
Region code
Region Code
Both the DVD player and the discs are coded by
region. These regional codes must match in order
to play the disc. If the codes do not match, the disc
will not play.
The Region Number for this DVD player is
described at the bottom of the DVD player.
Turning On the DVD Player
1. Slide the /STANDBY/ON switch on the unit
to ON position on the left panel to turn the DVD
player on. The LED Indicator lights up green.
2. The LOGIK DVD logo (start-up picture) will appear
on the screen and the unit will start loading the
disc automatically (if available).
3. After use, slide the /STANDBY/ON switch on the
unit to STANDBY position to turn the DVD player
o.
Remove the disc from the unit after the disc has stopped spinning completely.
Basic Playback
This instruction manual explains the basic instructions for operating this unit. Some DVDs
are produced in a manner that allows for specic or limited operation during playback.
Therefore, this unit may not respond to all operating commands. This is not a defect.
Please refer to the instructions accompanying the specic DVD in question for more
information about the options available on that DVD.

Basic DVD Playback
1. Slide the /STANDBY/ON switch to the ON
position on the unit.
2. Open the Disc Door.
3. Hold the disc by its sides and carefully place onto
the disc holder with the label side facing to the
front panel. Gently push the disc down until you
hear a click sound.
4. Close the Disc Door. The unit starts playback if the
disc does not have any menus recorded on it. If the
disc has one or more titles recorded on it, a menu
screen will appear on the screen.

5. Press / / / on the unit or / / / on the remote control to highlight
your desired title in the main menu. Press on the unit or ENTER on the remote
control to conrm;
OR
During DVD playback, press GOTO and then / to highlight Title. Input available title
by pressing 0-9 on the remote control. If you input only one digit (1-9), press on the
unit or ENTER on the remote control to conrm.
Playback Pausing
1. During playback, press on the unit or press PAUSE on the remote control to pause
playback.
2. Press on the unit or press PLAY on the remote control to resume normal playback.
Volume Adjustment
1. Turn the VOL dial on the unit to adjust the volume.
Stop Playback
2. Press STOP to go to pre-stop mode, the LCD Screen will show . With some discs,
the unit can recall the stopped location, such as on DVDs. The LCD screen will also show
Press Play Key To Continue.
3. Press on the unit or press PLAY on the remote control to resume playback from
the location where playback was stopped or from the beginning of the disc.
4. Press STOP twice to stop completely, the LCD Screen will show .. The DVD player
will play from the beginning of the disc next time you press on the unit or press
PLAY on the remote control.
Skip Forwards or Skip Backwards
1. While playing DVD, press on the unit or PREV on the remote control to go
back to the beginning of the current chapter. Press on the unit or PREV on the
remote control again to go back to the previous chapter. While playing CD, press on
the unit or PREV on the remote control to go back to the previous track.
2. During playback, press on the unit or NEXT on the remote control to play the
next chapter/track.
3. While an audio CD is playing, press 0-9 on the remote control to play the desired track.
Fast Forwards and Fast Backwards
1. Press / on the unit or SEARCH on the remote control to fast backwards /
fast forwards through the disc. Each time / on the unit or SEARCH / on the
remote control is pressed, the fast backwards / fast forwards motion speed changes.
There are 4 levels of speed available: 2x, 4x, 8x and 16x. While the fast backwards is at
16x speed, pressing on the unit or SEARCH on the remote control will resume
normal playback. While the fast forwards is at 16x speed, pressing on the unit or
SEARCH on the remote control will resume normal playback.
2. Press on the unit or PLAY on the remote control to resume normal playback.
