This equipment will perform in conformity with the description thereof contained in this manual and accompa-
nying labels and/or inserts when installed, operated, maintained and repaired in accordance with the instruc-
tions provided. This equipment must be checked periodically. Malfunctioning or poorly maintained equipment

or written request for service advice be made to the Authorized Distributor from whom it was purchased.

use, faulty maintenance, damage, improper repair or alteration by anyone other than the manufacturer or a ser-

CAUTION
Be sure the branch circuit or main disconnect switch is OFF or electrical input cir-
cuit fuses are removed from the power source main supply before attempting any
inspection or work on the inside of the wire feeder. Placing the power switch on the
welding machine in the OFF position does not remove all power from inside of the
equipment.
Inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of this equipment should be undertaken by
a competent individual having at least general experience in the maintenance and
repair of semi-conductor electronic equipment. Maintenance or repair should not be
undertaken by anyone not having such qualifications.

Install the PC board assembly (Table 2-1, Items 1 & 2). Use the supplied screws, washers and nuts to at-
tach bracket of assembly to slots in bottom of wire feeder. Position assembly towards middle of exist-
ing PC board to provide enough wire to make connections. Ensure plugs will reach PC board before
securing. Install screws from bottom of wire feeder. (See Figure 2-2 & 2-2a)

To determine which PC board is in your wire feeder,
refer to Figures 2-3 & 2-6. You must determine
which PC board you have to know which plug
assembly to connect to it. For AristoFeed Control
Board shown in Figure 2-3 use plug assembly (P1B)
shown below.
Connect “N” plug and “G” plug to existing PC board
terminals in locations shown in Figure 2-3 & 2-3a.
Do not force plugs into position. Plugs can only be
installed in one direction.

Item 11) to feeder pigtail connection wire and insert into
lower hole in back of wire feeder. See Figure 2-9.
