Secure your notebook to an object by connecting a
Kensington cable lock to this slot.
DVD drive Insert CDs or DVDs into this drive. For more information,
see Using the DVD drive” on page 38. This drive may
be a combination DVD/CD-RW or recordable DVD drive.
To determine the type of drive in the notebook, examine
the drive tray’s plastic cover and compare the logo to
those listed in “Identifying drive types” on page 38.

Press these buttons to open programs assigned to them or

Power button Press to turn the power on or off. You can also configure the
power button for Standby/Resume mode. For more
information on configuring the power button mode, see

which has been included on your hard drive. To access this

Keyboard Provides all the features of a full-sized, desktop keyboard. For

are not plugged in.
