2.4 Functional principle of the F800
The figure shows the refrigeration circuit with pool water condenser essentially consist-
ing of: scroll compressor (1), air-cooled condenser (4) and pool water condenser
(Option)(3), expansion valve (8) and evaporator or air- cooler (9). Refrigeration circuit
filled with refrigerant.

11: low-pressure limiter
12: venting valve
13 pool water
connection R 1/2"
Fig. 2-2: Refrigeration circuit
The hall air is evacuated by the centrifugal fan and cooled over the air cooler.
Depending on the humidity, the temperature can drop below the dew point; the water
steam in the hall air condenses on the fins of the air cooler and collects in the conden-
sate tray. The water condensate drained off through a pipe.
The dehumidified and cooled air is then re-warmed and supplied to the indoor swim-
ming pool hall.
If connected to the pool water condenser, about 65% of the thermal output is returned
to the pool water and about 35% to the hall air.

2.5 Air ventilation operation, no dehumidification requirement
As long as no dehumidification requirement is needed with the humidity switch in the
remote control, the F800 operates at low fan speed in ventilating/air circulation mode
in order to largely avoid wet corners and clouding of the windows.
2.6 Dehumidification operation
The dehumidification is switched on with the humidity switch in the remote control
whenever the inside air humidity rises above the preset setpoint. The high fan speed
and the compressor are then automatically taken into operation.
After the inside air humidity drops by about 5% rel. hum. below the preset setpoint, the
compressor is switched off (observe minimum standing and running period) and the
fan switched back to the low fan speed.

The F800 can be installed to dehumidify indoor swimming pools or other damp areas,
directly in the swimming pool hall or damp room or in ancillary rooms (rear-wall instal-
lation).
When setting up the unit, the good air circulation should provide
a homogenous temperature and humidity profile.
Fig. 4-1: Setting up in swimming pool/damp rooms
For installation with pool wa-
ter pump: Only set up the pool water pump in dry and frost-proof surroundings.
Ensure sufficient fresh-air supply to avoid inadmissible warming of the drive motor.
The pump can only be installed horizontally.
Improper installation or opening the pump will result in loss of warranty service.
To install the unit, proceed as follows:
If necessary, remove outer packaging.
Grip into the air intake grille, shove it upwards, tip down and remove.

Open or cut the outside air connection. Be sure
to hold the cut-out material tightly to avoid it fall-
ing back into the interior of the unit! Otherwise
the unit must be opened in order to remove the
cut-out material.
For units with rear wall mounting, the outside air
connection is mounted in front of the unit (see
“Set up in ancillary rooms (rear wall assembly)”
on page 20.

4.1.4 Set up in ancillary rooms (rear wall assembly)
Units to be installed in ancillary are delivered without casing.
The ambient temperature must be at least 20° C to avoid temperature shortfalls in the
unit and air ducts.
Rear-wall units must be set up in such a way, that the unit can be connected with short
duct pieces. The maximum total static pressure is 20 Pa. The pre-assembled flexible
connection for the supply air connection can be delivered as an accessory (see
“Adapter for extract-air connection for setting up in ancillary rooms” on page 21).
The unit is equipped with an adapter for connection to on-site exhaust air lines (e.g.
flexible air hoses). This is mounted before the air intake at the lower part of the unit
(see “Adapter for extract-air connection for setting up in ancillary rooms” on page 21).
Connectors with a diameter of 180 mm are provided for the connection of the hoses.
