SCANORAMA - The large tinted window (shade) gives you an unobstructed view of the
workpiece. During welding, look through the small dark filter plate (shades). The tinted win-
dow and filter plate gives a combined shade of 10. (OTHER SHADES CAN BE SELECTED BY
REPLACING THE FILTER PLATE).
NOTE:
Ideally suited for MIG & TIG applications up to 250 amps using Argon shielding.
Pitted or scratched plates reduce vision and protec-
tion. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately.
Avoid eye and face injury. Wear safety glasses and
use proper filter shade in helmet for arc or gas
welding applications. See ANSI/AWS Z49.1 for guide.

B. Cleaning
Do not use materials that are likely to damage plastics, e.g. gasoline, organic solvents, or abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the helmet and lens.
1. Remove excess dust from the helmets using a damp (water) cloth.
2. All the Protective Plates and Filter Plates should be cleaned in warm soapy water, rinsed in cold water. Wipe off
with a clean dry cloth. DO NOT use heat.
A. Adjusting Head Band
To Adjust Tilt Angle:
1. Loosen right side fastening nut.
2. Lift cam clear of locking screw and rotate to desired
adjusting slot.
3. Tighten fastening nut.
To Adjust Band Size
Smaller: Turn large adjusting knob at rear of band
clockwise.
Larger: Turn adjusting knob counter clockwise.
