FILTER USE: 6 MONTHS OR 300 GALLONS, WHICH EVER COMES FIRST, WILL VARY BASED ON WATER CONDITION
INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS:
- Protect filter from freezing; drain if room temperature falls below 40ºF (4.4ºC).
- Use filter on potable, safe to drink home COLD water supply only, do not use on HOT water supply.
- Do not install on line pressure above 120psi.
- Do not install in direct sunlight or outdoors.
- Installation must comply with existing state or local plumbing codes.
- Change filter at least every 6 months or when reduced flow rate occurs.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Turn cartridge to the left (counterclockwise) until the cartridge comes to a complete stop, water will automatically.
2. Turn off. Gently pull the cartridge down to remove.
3. Ensure the O-rings are present on the replacement cartridge and are seated into the grooves. Moisten the O-rings
with water. DO NOT use any petroleum products to lubricate the 0-rings.
4. Align tabs of replacement cartridge with the existing filter head and insert the replacement cartridge into the head.
5. Turn cartridge to the right (clockwise) until cartridge stops.
6. Open the inlet shut-off valve and flush 5 gallons through the system before use (about 7 minutes).
7. Write the date of installation on the filter and mark your calendar to replace with another filter after 6 months.
