FILTER USE: 6 MONTHS OR 2000 GALLONS, WHICH EVER COMES FIRST, WILL VARY BASED ON WATER
CONDITION
INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS:
- Protect filter from freezing; drain if room temperature falls below 40ºF (4.4ºC).
- Use filter on potable, safe to drink home COLD water supply only, do not use on HOT water supply.
- Do not install on line pressure above 120psi.
- Do not install in direct sunlight or outdoors.
- Installation must comply with existing state or local plumbing codes.
- Change filter at least every 6 months, 2,000 gallons, or when reduced flow rate occurs.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: All parts need for typical installation are included. Additional fitting and tools may be required for
non-typical installation. Tools needed: Phillips head screwdriver, adjustable wrench, cordless drill.
Also note: It is normal to hear a rattling noise from the filter. These loose filtering particles help to remove
incrustation.
1. Turn cartridge to the left until the cartridge comes to a complete stop, water will automatically turn
off.
2. Gently pull the cartridge down to remove.
3. Push new filter cartridge into filter head and turn cartridge a quarter turn to the right until it stops.
Top surface of cartridge will become flush with the bottom of head when fully engaged.
4. Turn on cold water at faucet for five minutes to flush new filter. Water may run cloudy initially but
will clear.
5. Write the date of installation on the filter and mark your calendar to replace with another filter after
6 months or 2,000 gallons (whichever comes first).
