Chipolino Car seat Orbit Easy is an approved child restraint system that complies with the requirements of ECE R44/04 for the safe transportation of children weighing from 0 to 36 kg. It is suitable for use in most cars and has been classified as "universal" under more stringent conditions than earlier designs. The car seat can be installed in both rearward and forward-facing positions, and it features a 5-point safety harness to keep your child secure. The backrest can be reclined to 4 different positions, and the car seat comes with additional soft pads for added comfort.

This child restraint system is designed and manufactured

in compliance with the requirements of Regulation No 44 of the United Na-

tions Economic Commission for Europe concerning the safe transportation of

children, the provisions of the Product Safety Directive 2001/95/ЕU of the Eu-

ropean Parliament and The Council, as well as the national law and Consumer

Protection Law.

NOTICE

1. This is a “UNIVERSAL” CHILD RESTRAINT. It is approved to Regulation No 44, 04 series of

 amendments,forgeneraluseinvehiclesanditwilltmost,butnotall,carseats.

2. Acorrecttislikelyifthevehiclemanufacturerhasdeclaredinthevehiclehandbookthatthe

 vehicleiscapableofacceptinga“universal”childrestraintfortheseagegroups.

3. Thischildrestrainthasbeenclassiedas“universal”undermorestringentconditionsthan

 thosewhichappliedtoearlierdesignswhichdonotcarrythisnotice.

4. Ifindoubt,consulteitherthechildrestraintmanufacturerortheretailer.

ThischildrestraintisclassiedSemi-universaluseandissuitableforxingintotheseatpositions

of the following car:

Seatpositionsinothercarsmayalsobesuitabletoacceptthischildrestraint.Ifindoubt,consult

either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.

VEHICLES ARE FITTED WITH LAP/3 POINT/

STATIC/WITH RETRACTOR SAFETY-BELTS,

APPROVED TO UN/ECE REGULATION NO. 16.

Never install and use the car seat in a REAR-

WARD POSITION on a seat equipped with an

airbag which cannot be deactivated! This may

lead to death or serious injury!

Review the instructions of the car seat for informa-

tionaboutairbagsandconditionsoftransportation

of children.

The outer rear seats are the safest position in the

vehicleforchildrenunder12years.Installthechild

restraint system only on forward facing vehicle

seats. Do not place the child car seat on a seat

whichisrearwardorsidewayfacing.Ifyouarein

doubtabouttheinstallationofthiscarseat,please

checktheuser’smanualofyourvehicleorcontact

yourvehicledealer.

Do not use this seat.

Use this seat if it is equipped with ISOFIX

points (for group I).

Each installation place must be equipped with a

 CAUTION! KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE!

 Installationinthevehicleandsecuringthechildinthecarseattobedoneonlybyadult!

 Thehardpartsandthepartsofthechildrestraintmadeofplasticshouldbelocatedandinstalled

 sothatwhenthevehicleisinnormaluse,theycannotbetrappedbyaslidingseatorinadoorof

the vehicle.

 Donotallowthesafetybeltsofthecarseatandthevehicletobetwisted,frayedortorn,latchesand

 locks(buckles)mustbealwaysingoodorderandrmlyxed.

 Ifyounduncertaintyordefectinthestructure,latches,strapsorlockingmechanismsofthecar

seat or ISOFIX attachments , discontinue usage until removal of the damaged parts and

replacement with new ones.

 Afteraviolentimpactthecarseatandbeltsmaybedamaged.therefore,itisrecommendedto

replace the car seat with new one.

 Neveruseasecondhandchildrestraint.itmayhavesufferedstructuraldamage,whichmaymake

 thechildrestraintextremelydangerous.

 Do not use this car seat without its seat cover and do not replace it with a new one, unless supplied

 bythemanufacturer.Thefabricpartsareintegralpartsoftherestraintsystemanditssafety

features!

 Alwaysmakesurethatyouarenotcarryinganyunsecuredobjects,especiallyonthebackshelf,

 which,incaseofanaccident,mayinjurethecar’soccupants

 Donotputadditionalpadsexcepttheonessuppliedfromthemanufacturer!Placingadditionalpads

 mayobscurethesafetyofyourchild.

 Donotusesparepartsandothercomponentsnotsuppliedbythemanufacturer.Themanufacturer

 Itisrecommendedtocoverthecarseatifthevehicleisparkedunderstrongsunshine–extreme

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

 Child restraint restraint while traveling in a vehicle designed for children weighing from 0 to

36 kg, classied in weight groups:

- 0+ (0-13 kg):Universalintegralchildrestraintsystem.Therestraintsystemisinstalledindirection

opposite to the direction of the vehicle and the child is "rearward facing";

- I (9-18kg):semi-universalintegralchildrestraintsystem:

 -Therestraintsystemisinstalledusingthe3-pointvehiclebeltinthedirectionofthevehicleand

the child is “facing forward” or;

 -Therestraintsystemisinstalledusingthe3-pointvehiclebeltandtheadditionalISOFIXinthe

direction of the vehicle and the child is “facing forward”;

- II (15-25kg):Universalnon-integralchildrestraintsystem.Therestraintsystemisinstalledusing

 the3-pointvehiclebeltinthedirectionofthevehicleandthechildis“facing forward”;

- III (22-36kg):Universalnon-integralchildrestraintsystem.Therestraintsystemisinstalledusing

 the3-pointvehiclebeltinthedirectionofthevehicleandthechildis“facing forward”;

Thiscarseatmaybesetin4positionsdependingontherecline:

1. INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT FOR GROUP 0+ (0-13 kg and age from 0 up to 12 months)

USING THE 3-POINT VEHICLE BELT

CAUTION! Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in a „REARWARD FACING”position(1-1)

IMPORTANT!Aftertheinstallationcheckifthecarseatissecurelytted.

Note:Fornewbornbabiesusethesoftpadsuppliedwiththiscarseat(1-6)!

2. SECURING THE CHILD WITH THE 5-POINT SAFETY HARNESS

IMPORTANT!Usethecarseat5-pointsafetyharnessforgroup 0+, position „rearward facing” and

group I, position „forward facing ”(2-6).

Note:Makesurethattheharnessisfastenedbypullingtheshoulderstrapsup.

3. ADJUSTING THE 5-POINT SAFETY HARNESS HEIGHT

IMPORTANT!Theheightoftheshoulderharnessesmustbeatthelevelofchild’sshoulders.

4. TIGHTENING AND LOOSENING THE HARNESS

Afterplacingthechildinthecarseatandfasteningthebelt,pulltheadjustingstrapinordertotightenit

(4-1).Thesafetyharnessmustbeadjustedinawaytoholdthebabywell,butnottootightortooloose.

Therecommendeddistancebetweenchild’sbodyandthebeltsmustbe(4-2)around3cm(orthewidth

oftwongers).

Note:Pullouttheshoulderstraps,notthesoftpads!(4-4).

Removethebeltswhenthechildismorethan15kgorishigherthan1m(4-5).

IMPORTANT!

• Followexactlytheinstructionsandsequenceofinstallationstepsanduseoftheproductdescribed

 inthetextandguresofthismanual.

• Checkthesecurityofxingaftereachoperation!

• ALWAYS CHECK THE SECURITY OF FIXING OF THE SAFETY BELTS!

• Aftereachinstallationmakesurethattheseatbeltsarenottwistedandareinthecorrectposition

5. INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT FOR GROUP I (9-18kg and age around 9 months and up

to 4 years) USING THE 3-POINT VEHICLE BELTA AND ISOFIX ATTACHMENTS

Note: For group I(9upto18kg)choosereclineposition 2(5-3).

5-1 up to 5-8 – Installation using the ISOFIX attachments

CAUTION! After installation using the ISOFIX the indicators must show „green color”(5-6),andcar

seatmustbewellxedonthevehicleseat(5-5).

CAUTION!Aftertheinstallationcheckifthecarseatissecurelytted.Ifthecarseatisnotstable(5-8)

andisshaking,repeattheinstallation.

5-9 to 5-14 - Installation using the 3-point safety belt

CAUTION! Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in a „FORWARD FACING” position!

IMPORTANT!Aftertheinstallationcheckifthecarseatissecurelytted.

Securethechildwiththe5-pointsafetyharness(5-7and5-14).

6. INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT FOR GROUP II (15-25kg and age around 3 up to 6 years)

USING THE 3-POINT VEHICLE BELT

6-1 до 6-3 Retracting the ISOFIX attachments

6-4 до 6-9 – Installation of the car seat

Remove the soft pads and the harness from the car seat and place it in a position „FORWARD FACING”

(6-4).

IMPORTANT!Aftertheinstallationcheckifthecarseatissecurelytted.(6-8).

WARNING! Makesurethevehiclebeltisnottwistedandloose!

7. INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT FOR GROUP III (22-36kg and age around 5 up to 12 years)

USING THE 3-POINT VEHICLE BELT

RetracttheISOFIXattachments,ifnecessary(g.6-1to6-3).

7-1 to 7-6 – Installation of car seat

Remove the soft pads and the harness from the car seat and place it in a position

„FORWARD FACING”(7-1).

IMPORTANT!Tightenthevehiclebeltsandmakesurethatthatthecarseatissecurelytted(7-5).

CAUTION!Makesurethevehiclebeltisnottwistedandloose!
