followedbypressingthe[U.Wt./Units]key.The"UnitWeight"display

Thesampleisthenaddedtothescaleandtheweightwillbedisplayedas
wellasthequantity,basedontheunitweight.
6.3.2 Countingmoreparts
Aftertheunitweighthasbeendeterminedorentered,itispossibleto
usethescaleforpartscounting.Thescalecanbetaredtoaccountforthe
containerweightasdiscussedintheearliersection.
Afterthescaleistaredtheitemstobecountedareaddedandthe
"Count"displaywillshowthenumberofitems,computedusingthetotal
weightandtheunitweight.
It is possible to increase the accuracy of the unit weight at any time
duringthecountingprocessbyenteringthecountdisplayedandthen
pressingthe[Smpl]key.Youmustbecertainthatthequantitydisplayed
matchesthequantityontheplatformbeforepressingthekey.Theunit
weightcanbeadjustedbaseduponalargersamplequantity.Thiswill
givegreateraccuracywhencountinglargersamplesizes.
6.3.3 Check‐counting
Check‐counting is a procedure to cause an alarm to sound when the
numberofitemscountedonthescalemeetsorexceedsanumberstored
inthememorybyusingthe[Pst]key.
Thevaluetobestoredisenteredfromthekeyboard.Enterthenumeric
valuetobestoredusingthenumerickeys.Thenpressthe[Pst]keyto
storethevalue.
Toclearthevaluefromthememoryandtherebyturnoffthecheck‐
countingfeature,enterthevalue"0"andpress[Pst].
Duringcountingifthecountisbelowthesetpointthe“Lo”indicatorwill
beon,ifitisequaltothesetpointthe “OK” indicatorwillbeonandifitis
abovethelimitthe“Hi”indicatorwillbeon.
6.3.4 ManuallyAccumulatedTotals
Thevalues(weightandcount)shownonthedisplaycanbeaddedtothe
