Access the AppSpeed User Interface
YouaccessAppSpeedfromwithintheVMwarevSphereClientorVMwareVirtualInfrastructure(VI)Client.
To access the AppSpeed user interface

IntheVIClient,clicktheAppSpeedicononthetoolbar.
IftheAppSpeedicondoesnotappear,verifythatthe
AppSpeedpluginisselectedinthePluginsmenu.

Analysis:Enablesyoutoviewrealtimeandhistoricalperformancedata.
Map:Enablesyoutoviewthelocationofaspecificapplication,server ,ortransactiononyournetwork
topologymap,aswellastherelationshipsbetw eenthemonitoredobjects.Thedefaultmapview focuses
onapplications,showingtheconnectionsbetw eenapplicationsandtheserversonwhichthey operate.

Defining the Time Period and Resolution for Data Collection
Define the Time Frame

datainspecificunitsoftime,suchasweeklyor
hourly.
