1) Lower shade[N] down over frame and secure to frame by aligning two (2) tabs on
shade with two (2) tabs on frame and screwing threaded nials[O] through holes in
aligned tabs.
2) Pass xture wires from coupling[L] on top of frame through long threaded tube[P]
and then through decorave tube[Q]. Screw threaded tube into coupling.
3) Lower decorave tube down over long threaded tube. Pass xture wires through
decorave cap[R] and then through coupling[S].
4) Lower decorave cap onto decorave tube, ensuring threads on long threaded tube
inside decorave tube protrude through hole in center of decorave cap.
5) Screw coupling[S] onto threads protruding out of the top of decorave tube[Q].
Tighten coupling to secure decorave tube and decorave cap.
6) Pass xture wires through desired number of stems[M] and supplied short threaded
tubes[K], and screw stems together using short threaded tubes.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with
symbol (4) to prevent accidental rotaon of xture during cleaning, relamping, etc.
7) Screw rst stem into coupling using a short threaded tube.
8) Pass xture wires from last stem through short threaded tube[K] and through loop[I].
Screw short threaded tube into top of last stem and into loop.
9) Take threaded pipe[A] from parts bag and screw in screw collar loop[B] a minimum
of 6 mm (1/4”). Lock into place with hexnut[C].
10) Run another hexnut down threaded pipe almost touching rst hexnut. Now screw
threaded pipe into mounng strap[D]. Mounng strap must be posioned with
extruded thread faced into outlet box[E]. Threaded pipe must protrude out the back
of mounng strap. Screw third hexnut onto end of threaded pipe protruding from
back of mounng strap.
11) Connect mounng strap[D] to outlet box using the strap mounng screws[J].
12) Unscrew the threaded ring[F] from screw collar loop. Take canopy[G] and pass over
screw collar loop. Approximately one half of the screw collar loop exterior threads
should be exposed. Adjust screw collar loop by turning assembly up or down in
mounng strap. Remove canopy.
13) Aer desired posion is found, ghten both top and boom hexnuts up against the
boom and top of the mounng strap.
14) Slip canopy over screw collar loop and thread on threaded ring. Aach open chain
link[H] (with xture connected) to boom of screw collar loop. Close the open link by
wrapping with a towel and squeezing closed using pliers. Unscrew threaded ring, let
canopy and threaded ring slip down.
15) Pass electrical wire and ground wire through chain link[H], threaded ring[F], canopy,
screw collar loop, and threaded pipe.
16) Wrap supply ground wire (BARE COPPER OR GREEN) around ground screw aached
to mounng strap and ghten screw. Be sure to leave extra wire beyond ground
screw to make connecon with ground wire from xture (no less than 2”).
17) Connect driver neutral input wire (WHITE) to supply neutral wire (WHITE) using P4
(YELLOW) wire nut.
18) Connect driver live input wire (BLACK) to supply hot wire (BLACK) using P4 (YELLOW)
wire nut.
19) Using a P4 (YELLOW) wire nut, connect xture ground wire (BARE COPPER) to supply
ground wire (aached to the mounng strap ground screw).
20) Connect xture neutral wire (BLUE or BLACK) to driver neutral output wire (BLUE or
BLACK) using P3 (ORANGE) wire nut.
21) Connect xture live wire (RED) to driver live output wire (RED) using P3 (ORANGE)
wire nut.
