Instruction

KW-SA260 wireless A/V transceiver consists of emitter (KW-SA260TX) and receiver

(KW-SA260RX). It adopts advanced 2.4GHz wireless transmission technology, with

strong anti-interference and mobility. When used in conjunction with set-top box,

DVD, VCD and etc, it can be installed easily, subject to no space impedance and

without any use of wire connection. It can make audio and video transmitting easily

available in every room at home, letting you enjoy HIFI audio and video freely at

every corner at home.

1.2 Product Appilcation

A/V to A/V wireless transmission, can be used when many televisions share a

DVD/VCD or digital television set-top box and etc. Video conference system in large

conference room, and multimedia room teaching. External connected monitoring

camera head, real-time on-spot image monitoring, can be used in security systems.

Building and industry monitoring system, long-distance manual monitoring children

and patient in patient wards. Audio and video transmitting places where construction

is difficult or cost is high.

2.3 Position for Emitter (KW-SA260TX)

In order to ensure normal transmission of infrared signal, please place emitter

(KW-SA260TX) following below two methods.

c Use infrared emitting equipment at the front of emitter:

place emitter on V/A equipments, and extend infrared emitting window 2-3cm or the

DVD Player & KW-SA260TX front infrared face to face, pointing to infrared receiving

window of V/A equipments.

Cozy tips:

There are usually words like "infrared remote" or "IR" on the infrared remote receiving

window of set-top box (STB) or DVD, please point emitter's infrared emitting window to it.

There are infrared emitting windows at the front and back of KW-SA260TX, see picture:

d Use infrared emitting equipment at the back of emitter:

place emitter in front of V/A equipments, and point infrared emitting window on the

back of the emitter to infrared receiving window of V/A equipments. And ensure

there are no barriers between them.

Cozy tips:

To ensure optimal use effect, this positioning method is suggested when condition allows.

2.4 Position for Transceiver (KW-SA260RX)

Please place transceiver (KW-SA260RX) beside the TV set, turn it on and connect

AV wire according to relative color (yellow, white and red).

2.5 Position for antenna

Please pay attention to the position of 433MHz antenna, ensuring there is no

barriers around the antenna. Especially pay attention to the metal, which will greatly

influence transmission of infrared returning signal. Please straighten antenna and

locate it according to following ways.

Cozy tips:

The 2.4GHz antenna and 433MHz antenna of transceiver and emitter shall be correctly

placed, or it is easy to inference normal transmission of signal.

3.1 Signal channel selection

AV1/AV2 can be switched freely by pressing information source button to freely

switch (see hardware introduction for AV1/AV2 input port description), and the signal

can be normally transmitted only when transceivers are in the same channel. When

you switch AV1/AV2 at transceiver (KW-SA260RX), emitter (KW-SA260TX) will

automatically switch signal channel according to your operation.

3.3 Channel Selection

Four 2.4GHz transmission channels can be switched freely by pushing on channel

switch channel button. But only when the transceiver is in the same channel can

video signals be transmitted normally. Panel indicator light for each channel

selection mode goes like following:

3.4 Remote Return Function Operation

possible, and away from audio and video connecting lines, to ensure no interference to

signal transmission. In case of infrared remote malfunction, please check antenna's position

on the condition that there is no
