• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Removeallofthecontentsfromthecarton.Seetheimportantnotesabove.Removetheoldxturefrom
the ceiling, including the old mounting strap.
1. Take the mounting strap assembly from the parts bag. One end of nipple (F) should be attached to
mountingstrap(A)withawasherandhexnut(CandD)inplace.The other end should have canopy
loop (H) attached.
2.Useascrewdriverandmountingscrews(B)toattachmountingstrap(A)tothejunctionbox.
(Unscrew canopy loop collar (I) from canopy loop (H). Pass canopy (G) over the mounted canopy loop
totesttheheight.Approximatelyhalfofthecanopyloop’sexteriorthreadsshouldbeexposed,andthe
canopyloopcollarshouldtsnuglyontothecanopyloop.Removecanopy(G)andadjusttheheightof
nipple (F) and canopy loop (H) until the desired height is reached.)
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
7. Push canopy (G) up to the ceiling. Slide canopy loop (H) and canopy loop collar (I) up beneath the canopy. Tightly thread canopy loop
collar (I) onto canopy loop (H) to secure canopy (G) in place.
8.Installalightbulb(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommended
wattage.
Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
3.Metalrings(RandS)areatforpackagingpurposes.Slidemetalrings(RandS)apartuntiltherings
are positioned to your satisfaction.
4.Nuts(OandP),nipple(N),topcap(M)andtoploop(L)areonthexture’swires,butnotattached.
Thread nut (P) onto the bottom of nipple (N). Thread the bottom of nipple (N) into post (Q) before
threading nut (O) onto the top of nipple (P). Screw top cap (M) and top loop (L) onto the threads of
nipple (N).
5. By measuring, determine the correct number of chain links needed for proper hanging height. If
necessary,useapairofplierstoopenandremoveanyexcesschain.Attachchainconnectors(K)to
each end of chain (J) before attaching one end of the chain connector and chain to top loop (L). Close
thechainconnector.Connecttheotherchainconnector(K)tocanopyloop(H).Feedthexture’swires
up through top loop (L) then through chain (J) (every three links or so). Pull the wires until taut. Gently
slide canopy loop collar (I) and canopy (G) onto the chain/wires.
CONNECTING THE WIRES
6. Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthe
wiring.Cutawaytheexcesswires.Refertothewiringdiagrambelowand
attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.
Connect Hot to Hot, Neutral to Neutral, and Ground to Ground. Twist the
ends of the wire pairs together, and then twist on a wire connector. Make
sure all twists are in the same direction. If there is no house ground wire
comingfromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onthemounting
bracket/mountingstrapandwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthe
ground screw. Use a screwdriver to tighten the top of ground screw (E)
onto the wires and into the mounting bracket/mounting strap. Tuck the
wiresintothejunctionbox.
