heights and around unit openings. Follow
manufacturers’ instructions for ladders and/
or scaffolding. Failure to do so may result in

Pivot bottom sash to remove from window
frame as shown. Place sash on clean at work
surface, exterior side up.

Rotate and hold lock handles toward center
while tilting sash in 90 degrees.
Unlock window and raise bottom sash

Slide tilt latches inward while tilting sash in 90 degrees.
Pivot top sash to remove from window frame as shown.
Place sash on clean at work surface, exterior side up.

Grip side jamb liner top weatherstrip at lower edge with needle nose
pliers. Pull straight out and dispose of properly.

▶Top side jamb liner weatherstrip
replacement procedure is complete.
Cut side jamb liner top weatherstrip to length, if required. Insert side
jamb liner top weatherstrip into side jamb liner kerf. Press rmly to
fully seat.

Side Cutters
Rotate replacement top sash to engage pivot pins into balance shoes of
exterior channel. Push down until both pivot pins are fully engaged.

Tilt sash up, retracting tilt latches by sliding inward. Release tilt
latches to re-engage sash in frame. Verify top sash operation. Repeat
step 9-10 if sash does not operate correctly.

Rotate bottom sash to engage pivot pins into balance shoes of interior
channel. Push down until both pivot pins are fully engaged.
Tilt sash up, retracting tilt latches by rotating
lock handles toward center, then release lock
handles to re-engage sash.
