Preparation:

• Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Park the vehicle on level ground and set the emergency brake.

• We recommend reading through the installation instructions in whole before performing the work.

• Estimated Installation Time: .5 Hour

**If you are already installing a winch, do not add any labor time for this install.**

You will need the following tools:

- Ratchet - 5/16" Allen Wrench/Socket - 3/4" Wrench

- Snap Ring Pliers

Included in Kit:

2 - Button Head Bolts

(1/2”-13 x 1 1/2")

2 - Flat Washers

(1/2”)

2 - Nylon Lock Nuts

(1/2”-13)

1 - Snap Ring

1 - Hook Pin 1 - Capture Hook

1 - Capture Fairlead

Installation:

1. Mount the Fairlead to your bumper using the supplied 1/2" Bolts (x2), 1/2" Washers (x2), and 1/2" Lock Nuts

(x2). Torque these bolts to 70 foot pounds. (Fig A)

2. Slide the end of the winch rope into the hook. en use the Hook Pin to hold the rope in place. Install the

supplied Snap Ring (x1) to secure the hook pin. (Fig B)

3. Stand back and enjoy your new ADD Capture™ Fairlead.

4. Check and re-tighten, if needed, all mounting bolts aer 100 miles and periodically thereaer.
