PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL SUGGESTIONS
1. During and immediately after use, some oven parts
(e.g. oven door glass) are extremely hot. Do not
touch!
2. When the oven is on, the glass door becomes
extremely hot. To protect children, the oven door
should be covered to prevent contact with the hot
glass pane. Upon request, this protection option
can be supplied. Contact your Supplier or our After-
Sales service, stating the model number of your
appliance.
3. Keep children away from the oven when in use,
especially when the door is open.
4. Do not keep any inflammable items in the oven. If
the appliance is switched on by mistake, they could
catch fire.
5. Make sure that the supply cable does not touch
cutting edges or hot elements. Check that electrical
cables connected to other appliances near the
cooker cannot come into contact with hot parts or
be trapped in the oven door.
6. Always use heat-resistant cookware.
7. Use the drip tray when using the oven and grill.
8. Lift the cover up before using the oven or grill.
9. Do not cover the lower section of the oven with
aluminium foil and never place a baking or drip tray
in the bottom of the oven.
10.Never put inflammable items in the warming
drawer.
11.The appliance is built with re-usable material. When

HOW TO USE THE OVEN
Side racks
The oven has two removable side racks which allow for
four different oven-loading positions. They provide
support for the drip tray, baking tray and/or grid
which slide between the two guides on either side of
the oven, at the same height. When you fit the tray or
grid take care to position it correctly so that it is
horizontal. To choose the best oven position, refer to
the baking and grilling tables.
Fat filter
The purpose of the fat filter is to avoid the fan
becoming dirty while food is cooking, whatever the
type of cooking.
Use the fat filter only when strictly necessary, i.e. for
roasting and grilling. Do not use it for baking cakes,
etc..

Fan-assisted convection system
The air is drawn in through openings in the rear wall
of the oven and then heated before it is circulated in
the oven chamber.
The fan-assisted convection ensures even distribution
of the heat inside the oven and allows food to be
cooked simultaneously on three different oven levels.
The temperatures needed for convection cooking are
also lower than for conventional radiant heat cooking
(see Temperature settings).
Heating from above and below
Inside the oven the heating elements are located on
the oven floor and ceiling. Heat is supplied by
radiation.

HOW TO USE THE OVEN
Conventional grilling
Very important note:
The oven door must always be left slightly ajar.
Fit the heat screen (provided with the accessories) to
protect the control panel from the heat escaping from
the oven.
Turn on the grill by positioning the oven function
selector on
and select the required temperature
setting with the thermostat control.
Preheat the oven for five minutes with the door ajar.
When you add the food, make sure that the roast is
placed as close as possible to the grill heating
element.

Sterilisation
Use only commercially-available jars for sterilising in the oven. Bottles, tins and containers with sealed lids must be
sterilised in a steriliser. Meat, sausages and all pureed foods, such as apple sauce, tomato puree, etc., must be
sterilised in a steriliser.
For sterilising in the oven, proceed as follows:
x
Prepare the jars and rubber seals carefully.
x
The containers must all be the same size and contain the same amount of food. Do not use tall containers, since
their tops might fly off.
x
For bottled fruit, fill the jars up to 2 cm from the brim; for vegetables, fill them up to 5 cm from the brim.
x
Moisten the rubber seals and place them on the containers.
x
Close the jars carefully with the tops and clips.
x
Turn the oven function knob to and the thermostat control to 170-180
o
C. Preheat the oven.
x
Place the drip tray on the lowest oven position.
x
Place the jars on the drip tray, making sure that they do not touch each other.
x
Pour 1 litre of water into the drip tray.
x
Lower the temperature by adjusting the thermostat control to 150-160
o
C.
x
After about 50-70 minutes, air bubbles will begin to rise in the jars. If you are sterilising fruit, you can switch off
the oven at this stage. If you are processing vegetables, lower the oven temperature by bringing the thermostat
control
back to 125-150
o
C and continue cooking for a further 60-90 minutes.
x
Comply with the following sterilising times:
Soft fruit: 10-15 minutes of residual heat
Peaches, plums, etc.: 15-20 minutes of residual heat
Apples, pears, etc.: 30 minutes of residual heat
Vegetables: 30 minutes of residual heat.
x
Leave the jars to stand for 24 hours before removing the clips.

INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION SITE
The room in which the cooking range is to be installed
must have a sufficient air supply for combustion of
gases (2 m
3
/h x kW).
The air input must be directed through one or more
vents in the outer walls with a minimum of 100 cm
