Fordtechservice Liftgate Latch User manual

  • Hello! I've reviewed the user manual for the Ford Explorer and Police Interceptor-Utility liftgate latch manual release. This document details the steps to manually release the liftgate latch using a flat-bladed screwdriver. It provides specific instructions for different vehicle configurations, including those with and without third-row seats, and both manual and power liftgates. I'm ready to assist with any questions you may have about these procedures.
  • What tool is needed to manually release the liftgate latch?
Does this procedure work for vehicles with third row seats?
Do I need to remove the rear doors for this procedure?
