Handset User Guide
1. LCD Screen: phone interface for status,
dialing directories, and message information.
2. Soft Buttons: these buttons are interactive
and have a changing function based on the
phone’s status
3. Flex Buttons: a line or feature can be
assigned to these buttons.
4. Page: scroll through the soft button functions
on the LCD screen
5. Transfer: transfer the current active call or
access the PGM (program) menu while the
phone is idle.
6. Speed: assign or use assigned speed dial
numbers.
7. DND (Do-Not-Disturb): blocks incoming
calls. You can also activate Do-Not-Disturb
while the phone is ringing.
8. Call back: initiate a call back request to a
busy station. Once that station becomes idle,
the initiating station is signaled.
9. Mute: mute the call so that the caller cannot
hear your voice.
10. Volume control: adjust the Ring, Headset,
Handset, and Speaker volume.
11. Speakerphone: toggle the speakerphone
On and Off during a call. The button will
automatically illuminate when the phone is in
menu mode.
12. Hold/Save: place a call on hold or use to save
information when programming.

Dealing with calls
Answering an Incoming Call
Lift the handset and press the ashing ex button (as needed)
Making an External Call
Press a free Loop/Line ex button or the 9 button to pick up an outside line. Once you have the
outside line, dial your number.
Making an Internal Call
Lift the handset. Dial the extension number or press the ex button assigned to the contact.
Rejecting a Call
Press the DND button when a call comes in - the caller will get a fast busy tone.
Call Pick Up
Lift the handset and dial ** to pick up any handset in your group, if it is not in your group dial 7 and
then the intercom number of the ringing handset.
Placing a call on hold
Press the Hold/Save button. To reconnect the call, press the green ashing Loop/Line ex button.
Do-Not-Disturb
Makes your extension
unavailable for calls
Press DND button to activate.
Press DND button again to deactivate.
Please note that this is not available on the attendant handset.
Ad Hoc Conference Calls
(3 way calling)
To call the rst party, follow “Making an External/internal Call” above for instructions.
Once connected press the CONF soft button once.
Call the second party (as above).
Once connected, press the CONF soft button twice to connect the calls.
To place a conference call on hold, press the Hold/Save button. Press again to retrieve the
conference.
Programming Call Forward
Routes your calls to another extension/
group/speed dial
(this will override your voicemail
functions.)
Lift the handset.
Press the FWD soft button.
Dial the type of forward code 1-4.
Dial the destination number.
To deactivate, follow the rst two steps then Dial #.
Transferring a Call
Press the Transfer button.
Dial the extension number, external number or press the programmed ex button.
Either speak to the recipient to announce the call or simply hang up.
Returning to Caller from a Transfer
Press the green ashing Loop/Line ex button.
Camp On
When dialing an extension that is engaged, the Camp On feature allows the station to be notied
that there is a call waiting. Press * to wait off-hook.

Dial the desired System or Station Speed Dial number
Last Number Redial (LNR)
Lift the handset.
Select the REDIAL soft button
Use the Volume keys to select from the last 10 numbers dialed
Press Hold/Save or the SEND soft button to dial
