CASH LCCM I REGULATOR
MASTER REBUILD KIT (PN 10770341) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before installation, these instructions must be carefully read and understood.
Quantity Description
1 O-ring (Approximately 1.65" Diameter)
2 Diaphragms (Tan)
1 Diaphragm Liner (White)
1 Diaphragm (SST)
3 Alignment Pins
1 O-ring (Approximately 0.650 Diameter)
1 Piston Sub (Brass/Teflon)
1 PB Shut-off Sub
WARNING
Failure to follow these directions could lead to
bodily injury or death. Repairing this unit will
nullify any warranty. If this is a concern, return the
unit to the factory for repair. Oxygen cleanliness
and compatibility is a must. Only use material
supplied.
CAUTION
Remove LCCM Regulator before attempting
repair. Be certain all liquid is removed from the
vessel and the pressure is vented to 0 psig. The
LCCM Regulator must be repaired in a clean area.
Clean hands with degreasing soap prior to repair.
TOOLS NEEDED
• 3/4" end-wrench
• 5/32" Hex Bit for Torque Wrench (long shank
hex to clear spring chamber)
• 5/32" Hex Wrench (L-shaped or T-Handle)
• Torque Wrench (0-100 ft.-lbs. scale)
• 7/8" Socket
DIAPHRAGM REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS:
SEE FIGURE 1
1. Secure Manifold with Spring Chamber
pointing up.
2. Turn the Adjusting Screw Cap counter-
clockwise to release all spring tension.
3. Remove the (5) Screws.
4. Lift off Spring Chamber.
5. Remove Spring Button, Pressure Spring and
Pressure Plate and set them aside.
6. Remove Diaphragms, Diaphragm Liner and
O-ring and discard them.
7. Install supplied O-ring into groove of the
manifold. (Use care as not to twist the
O-ring)
8. Insert supplied Alignment Pins into (3) of the
screw holes on the Manifold.
9. Re-install Ball Seat as shown in Figure 1.
10. Install the supplied Diaphragm Liner over
the Alignment Pins.
11. Install the supplied (3) new Diaphragms
over the Alignment Pins in correct order as
shown in Figure 1. The correct order is very
important!
12. Re-install the Pressure Plate, Pressure
Spring and Spring Button that were
removed from the unit in Step 5.
13. Be sure the Adjusting Screw Cap is turned
fully counter-clockwise without removing it
from the Spring Chamber and re-install the
Spring Chamber over the Pressure Spring
using the Alignment Pins as a guide.
14. Insert (2) Screws into the open holes and
hand-tighten it.
15. Remove Alignment Pins.
16. Insert the remaining (3) Screws into the
holes and hand-tighten it.
17. Tighten all (5) Screws to 30 in.-lbs. skipping
every other screw to assure proper
torqueing sequence.
18. Tighten all (5) Screws to 75 in.-lbs., again
skipping every other screw to assure proper
torqueing sequence.
19. Turn Adjusting Screw Cap clockwise to
desired setting.
PISTON SUB INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
SEE FIGURE 2
20. Remove manifold and secure with Bottom
Plug pointing up (rotate 180°).
21. Remove Bottom Plug from Manifold and set
aside.
22. Remove Piston Sub and Piston Spring from
Manifold.
23. Discard old Piston Sub and set Piston
Spring aside.
24. Place supplied Piston Sub into Manifold as
shown in Figure 2.
25. Insert Piston Spring into bottom of Piston
Sub.
26. Remove old O-ring from Bottom Plug and
replace with supplied O-ring.
27. Push down to overcome Piston Spring
while turning Bottom Plug to start thread
engagement.
28. Turn in Bottom Plug hand-tight.
29. Use Torque Wrench to tighten Bottom Plug
to 15 ft.-lbs.
PRESSURE BUILDER SHUT-OFF SUB
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
SEE FIGURE 3
1. Use 3/4" open-end wrench to loosen old
Pressure Builder Shut-off Sub and unscrew
it out of the valve Body. Discard.
2. Install supplied Pressure Builder Shut-off
Sub per Figure 3.
3. Snug PB Shut-off Sub with 3/4" wrench to
prevent loosing during normal use.
