CASH FRM REPAIR KIT
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before installation, these instructions must be carefully read and understood.
INSTALLATION
1. Loosen Lock Nut 1/4 turn and loosen
Adjusting Screw until the Pressure Spring is
no longer under tension. - see Fig. 1.
2. Loosen and remove Spring Chamber and
remove Diaphragm Assembly and Seat Ring.
NOTE:
When installing the Adjusting Screw during
re-assembly, tighten the screw until the Lock Nut just
touches the Spring Chamber. When the Valve is placed
in service the pressure setting should be very close to
the original setting.
3. Disassemble the Diaphragm assembly
and replace the Ball Seat and Diaphragm.
Tighten the Diaphragm Nut to approximately
20-25 in-lbs (2.26-2.83 N•m) torque.
4. Replace Seat Ring and install repaired
Diaphragm Assembly. Ensure the step
on the Seat Ring is facing up - see Fig 3.
Also, Diaphragm Gasket must be given a
very light coating of Fluorolube LG-120 and
installed between Body and Diaphragm
Assembly - See Fig. 1
5. Retighten Spring Chamber to 90 ft-lbs.
(122 N•m) torque.
IMPORTANT
Exercise care to ensure that the rounded surface
of the Ball Seat is not scratched, marred or
damaged during re-assembly.
6. Reset Adjusting Screw and tighten Lock Nut
- see NOTE
