CASH PBE-1 MINI REPAIR KIT
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before installation, these instructions must be fully read and understood.
INSTALLATION
1. Loosen Lock Nut 1/4 turn and loosen
Adjusting Screw until the Pressure Spring is
no longer under tension. - see Fig. 1.
IMPORTANT
Exercise care to ensure that the rounded surface of
the Ball Seat is not scratched, marred or damaged
during disassembly and re-assembly.
3. Reassemble Diaphragm Assembly with Ball
Seat Gasket and Diaphragms included in
Kit. Tighten Diaphragm Assembly Nut to
25in-lbs. torque.
4. Before reinstalling Diaphragm Assembly,
ensure that Seat Ring is installed with the
step facing up – see Fig. 1b. Position the
Diaphragm Gasket between the Body and
Diaphragm Assembly – see Fig 1a.
5. Reassemble remaining components. Tighten
Spring Chamber to 90 ft-lbs. torque.

NOTE
When installing the Adjusting Screw during re-
assembly, tighten the screw until the Lock Nut just
touches the Spring Chamber. When the Valve is
placed in service the pressure setting should be very
close to the original setting.
2. Loosen and remove Spring Chamber and
remove Diaphragm Assembly. Loosen
and remove Diaphragm Assembly Nut
and remove Washer, Pressure Plate,
Diaphragms and Ball Seat Gasket – see
Fig2.
