• Only connect the machine to an earthed mains supply.

• Sænk patronen indtil hullet i drevspindlen (31) bliver synligt. Hold patronen fast i denne

position.

• Løft bordet indtil det er næsten 2 cm under patronen.

• Drej patronen med hånden for at sætte hullet i drevspindlen ud for hullerne i

indføringsspindlen.

• Udløs patronen ved at stikke kilen (32) ind i hullet i drevspindlen.

4. BRUG

Indsætning og udtagning af et bor

• Åbn sikkerhedsafskærmningen (7).

• Åbn patronen (6).

• Sæt boret ind i patronen.

• Stram patronen med hånden.

• Stram patronen ved at sætte patronnøglen ind i et af hullerne i patronens side, og drej den

med uret.

• Luk sikkerhedsafskærmningen.

• For at tage boret ud, følges samme vejledning i modsat rækkefølge.

• Før man sætter et bor i eller tager det ud, skal maskinens stik altid tages ud af

stikkontakten.

Maskinen er udstyret med en nulspændingsomskifter. Når spændingen bortfalder

ved strømsvigt, tilkobles maskinen af sikkerhedsgrunde ikke længere automatisk.

Maskinen skal derfor tændes på ny.

Ved udskiftning af ledninger og stik

Kasser gamle ledninger og stik, så snart de er skiftet ud med nye. Det er farligt at sœtte et stik fra

en løs ledning i en stikkontakt.

Ved brug af forlœngerledninger

Brug udelukkende godkendte forlœn gerledninger, der er beregnede til maskinens effekt.

Lederne skal have et gennemsnit på mindst 1,5 mm

. Hvis forlœngerledningen sidder på en

tromle, rulles ledningen helt af.

3. MONTAGE

Samling af maskinen

Gå altid frem som beskrevet i det følgende og i den angivne rækkefølge, når maskinen samles:

• Monter stativet.

• Monter bordet.

• Monter hovedet.

• Monter sikkerhedsafskærmningen.

• Monter borepatronen.

• Fjern den rustbeskyttende olie på de udækkede metaldele med en klud og lidt paraffinolie.

Smør derefter delene med maskinsmøreolie.

Hvis der mangler dele, må man ikke samle maskinen, koble den til stikkontakten og

tænde den, før de manglende dele er blevet monteret i henhold til anvisningerne.

Check følgende før brug:

• at bordet let kan bevæges;

• at boreløftestangen kan løftes op og ned uden besvær;

• at maskinen ikke ryster, når den tændes.

Sæt foden (11) på en plan og fast flade.

• Sæt søjlen (12) på foden, den skal vende som vist.

• Monter søjlen med befæstelseselementerne (13).

• Anbring tandstangen (14) mod tandhjulet (15) på indersiden af støttebeslaget (16) som

vist.

• Skyd støttebeslaget over søjlen (12), mens du holder tandstangen fast i dens position.

• Skub tandstangen helt ned.

• Do not wear gloves, ties or loose clothing.

• While drilling, never hold the workpiece by hand, but firmly tighten it to the drilling table

using a vice e.g. Never keep your fingers on a place where they could touch the drill in case

the workpiece should move unexpectedly.

• Do not use the machine until it has been mounted and installed completely according to the

instructions.

• Do not switch on the machine while moving the head relative to the table or vice versa. Do

not switch on the machine until having checked that head and table have been tightened

firmly to the pillar.

• Do not use the machine if a part is damaged or badly functioning.

• Adjust the table or depth stop to prevent the drill from entering the table. Do not perform any

design, assembly or construction activities on the table while the machine is switched on.

• Make sure that the chuck key (if applicable) has been removed before switching on the

machine.

• Before switching on the machine, make sure the chuck has been mounted correctly, the

drill has been mounted into the chuck firmly and the safety guard has been shut.

• In operation, use the recommended speed for the drilling accessories and the material.

• Switch off the power, remove the drill and clean the table before leaving the machine.

• Lock the on/off switch when leaving the machine.

Additional safety instructions for lasers

Warning! The laser beam potentially causes severe eye damage. Never look or

stare directly into the laser beam.

• During use, do not point the laser beam at people, directly or indirectly through reflecting

surfaces.

• This laser complies with class 2 according to EN 60825-1. The unit includes no servicing

components. Do not open the housing for any reason. If the unit is damaged, have the

damage repaired by an authorized repair agent.

Immediately switch off the machine when

• Interruption in the mains plug, mains lead or mains lead damage.

• Defect switch.

• Smoke or stench of scorched isolation.

Electrical installation

The machine is provided with an electrical installation, which meets the standards. Repairs

may only be carried out by a recognised professional.

The machine is provided with a zero voltage switch. After the tension drops the

machine will not start to run automatically for safety reasons. The machine must be

switched on again.

Electrical safety

Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.

Replacing cables or plugs

Immediately throw away old cables or plugs when they have been replaced by new ones. It is

dangerous to insert the plug of a loose cable in the wall outlet.

Using extension cables

Only use an approved extension cable suitable for the power input of the machine. The

minimum conductor size is 1.5 mm

. When using a cable reel always unwind the reel

completely.

3. ASSEMBLY

Assembling the machine

Always use the following procedure, in the order given, when assembling the machine:

• Mount the stand.

• Mount the table.

• Mount the head.

• Mount the safety guard.

• Mount the chuck.

• Remove the anti-corrosive oil on the uncovered metal parts using a cloth and a little

parrafin oil. Proceed with greasing the parts with machine lubricating oil.

If parts are missing, do not assemble the machine, do not plug in and do not switch

on the machine until the missing parts have been mounted according to the

instructions.

Check before operation:

• That the table can be moved smoothly;

• That the drill lift can be moved up and down smoothly;

• That the machine does not shake when it is switched on.

Mounting the stand

Install the foot (11) on a level and solid surface.

• Place the pillar (12) on the foot in the orientation as shown.

• Mount the pillar using the fasteners (13).

• Place the toothed rack (14) against the toothed wheel (15) on the inside of the support

bracket (16) as shown.

• Slide the support bracket over the pillar (12) while holding the toothed rack in position.

• Push the toothed rack fully downward.

• Slide the spherical ring (17) over the pillar (12) with the wider opening facing downward to

make sure that the top end of the toothed rack (14) is locked. Tighten the lock screw (18).

• Place the height adjustment handle (19) onto the spindle (20) and tighten the screw (21).

• Man skal altid bære sikkerhedsbriller og hårnet, i tilfælde af at man har langt hår.

• Maskinen må ikke benyttes, før den er blevet korrekt monteret og installeret i henhold til

vejledningerne.

• Maskinen må ikke tændes mens hovedet bevæges i forhold til bordet eller omvendt. Man

må ikke tænde maskinen, indtil man er sikker på, at hoved og bord er blevet godt

fastspændt til søjlen.

• Maskinen må ikke benyttes, hvis nogle af dens dele er beskadiget eller fungerer dårligt.

• Man skal justere bordet eller dybdestoppet, for at undgå atboret trænger igennem bordet.

Man må ikke foretage nogen form for arbejde på bordet, som f.eks. samling og

konstruktion, mens maskinen er tændt.

• Man skal sikre sig, at patronnøglen (hvis anvendelig) er blevet fjernet, inden maskinen

tændes.

• Før maskinen tændes, skal man sikre sig, at patronen er blevet korrekt monteret, at boret

er blevet godt fastsat i patronen, og at sikkerhedsafskærmningen er blevet slået ned.

• Når boremaskinen er i drift, skal man benytte den hastighed, som anbefales til det

benyttede boretilbehør og materialet, i hvilket der bores.

• Før maskinen forlades, skal man slukke den, fjerne boret og rengøre bordet.

• Man skal låse tænd/sluk knappen, når man går fra maskinen.

Yderligere sikkerhedsforskrifter for lasere

Advarsel! Laserstrålen kan forårsage alvorlige øjenskader. Man må aldrig se eller

stirre direkte ind i laserstrålen.

• Peg ikke med laserstrålen på andre mennesker, hverken direkte eller indirekte via

reflekterende overflader.

• Denne laser er klasse 2 og overholder bestemmelserne i EN 60825-1. Enheden

indeholder ikke nogen servicerbare komponenter. Huset må ikke under nogen

omstændigheder åbnes. Hvis enheden er beskadiget, må den kun repareres af en

autoriseret servicetekniker.

Maskinen skal øjeblikkeligt slukkes i til fælde af

• Defekt netstik, netledning eller beskadigelse af ledning;

• Defekt kontakt;

• Røg eller lugt fra sveden isolering.

Elektrisk sikkerhed

Mounting the head

• Place the head (22) on the top of the pillar (12).

• Firmly tighten the Allen screws (23) to keep the head in place.

• Place the height adjustment wheel (24) onto the shaft (25) and tighten the screw (26).

• Screw the knobs (27) onto the wheel.

Mounting the safety guard

• Mount the safety guard (7) onto the collar (28).

• Secure the guard by tightening the clamp screw (29).

Mounting the chuck

• Open the safety guard (7).

• Slide the chuck spindle (30) into the drive spindle.

The chuck (6) must be removed when working with cone drills. In order to remove the chuck,

proceed as follows:

• Open the safety guard (7).

• Lower the chuck until the hole in the drive spindle (31) becomes visible. Hold the chuck in

this position.

• Raise the table until it is approximately 2 cm below the chuck.

• Turn the chuck by hand to align the hole in the drive spindle with the holes in the feed

spindle.

• Release the chuck by driving the wedge (32) into the hole in the drive spindle.

4. OPERATION

Inserting and removing a drill

• Open the safety guard (7).

• Open the chuck (6).

• Insert the drill into the chuck.

• Fasten the chuck by hand.

• Fasten the chuck firmly by inserting the chuck key in one of the holes in the side of the

chuck and turning it clockwise.

• Shut the safety guard.

• In order to remove a drill, proceed in reverse order.

• Before inserting or removing a drill, always pull the plug from the wall socket.

Setting the depth stop

The depth stop is used to set the maximum drilling depth.

• Set the required drilling depth by rotating the depth stop wheel (33) to the defined value.

The table can be height-adjusted, turned and toppled.

Height adjustment:

• Slacken the locking handle (34).

• Turn the handle (19) to adjust the table (5) to the required height.

• Tighten the locking handle.

Turning:

• Slacken the locking handle (34).

• Turn the table (5) to the required position.

• Tighten the locking handle.

Toppling:

• Slacken the locking screw (35).

• Topple the table (5) to the required position.

• Tighten the locking screw.

Adjusting the table extenders

Using the table extenders you can support long workpieces.

• Slacken the wing nuts (36).

• Slide the extender (37) outward.

• Tighten the wing nut.

Adjusting the speed

• Remove the screw (38) and open the cover (39).

• Slacken the screw (40) and push the motor housing (2) to the front to release the tension on

the rear V-belt (41).

• Put the V-belts in line on the pulleys (42) in one of the combinations specified on the inside

of the cover. In order to adjust the front V-belt (43) it is necessary to temporarily remove the

rear V-belt (41).

• Push the motor housing to the rear to tension the V-belt.

• Clamp the motor housing in position by tighening the screw (40).

• Close the cover and re-fit the screw (38).

Switch off the machine and wait until the machine has come to a complete standstill

before changing the speed.

Adjust the speed to the material to be drilled and the drilling diameter:

• For drilling in wood, choose a high speed.

• For drilling in metal and plastics, choose a lower speed as the drilling diameter increases.

• Use waste material to practise your skills and to learn operating the machine first.

inn med olje.

• When drilling through, adjust the table to make sure that the drill is alligned with the opening

in the centre of the table. If required, mark the position on the front side of pillar and table in

case the table should be set in the same position at a later time.

• Securely tighten the workpiece. Toppling, turning or sliding not only results in a rough

drilling hole, it also increases the risk of the drill breaking off.

• Use a piece of waste wood as a backup to reduce the risk of the workpiece splintering and

to protect the drill tip.

• Place flat workpieces on a wooden underground and clamp securely to the table to prevent

them from turning. Support workpieces that are irregular of shape and cannot be put flat

onto the table.

• Use the lift handles to bring the drill lift downwards. Slowly feed the dril into the workpiece.

• Drill slowly when the drill is about to break through the workpiece to prevent splintering.

Switching on and off

• To switch the machine on, set the on/off switch (1) to ‘I’.

• To switch the machine off, set the on/off switch (1) to ‘0’.

The laser beam is used to indicate the centre location of the drill hole in case you have to drill

several holes in workpieces of the same thickness.

• Place the table (5) in a horizontal position.

• Make sure that the drill and the opening in the table are aligned.

• Place the workpiece on the table.

• Lower the drill bit until it touches the workpiece.

• Switch the laser (44) on by operating the on/off switch (10).

• Check that the laser crosshair (45) aligns with the centre of the drill hole as marked on the

workpiece. If necessary, adjust the laser by hand.

• Follow the “Instructions for use” to perform a drill hole.

• After use, switch off the laser.

5. MAINTENANCE

Make sure that the machine is not live when carrying out maintenance work on the

motor.

The machines have been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum of

maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper machine care and

regular cleaning.

Cleaning

Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine. Regularly

clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the ventilation

slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy

water. Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may

damage the plastic parts.

Lubrication

Turn the drill shaft to the maximum drilling depth once per 3 months and grease it slightly with

oil.

Faults

Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part, please contact the service address on the

warranty card. In the back of this manual you find an exploded view showing the parts that can

be ordered.

Environment

To prevent damage during transport, the appliance is delivered in a solid packaging which

consists largely of reusable material. Therefore please make use of options for recycling the

packaging.

Faulty and/or discarded electrical or electronic apparatus have to be collected at

the appropriate recycling locations.

Warranty

For the conditions of warranty, please refer to the separately provided warranty card.

• Bruk et stykke avfallstre som en sikring for å redusere faren for at arbeidsstykke ikke

splintrer og for beskyttelse av borespissen.

• Plassèr flate arbeidsstykker på en underflate av tre og klem på en sikker måte for å

forhindre dem fra å bevege på seg. Understøtt arbeidsstykker som har en ujevn form eller

arbeidstykker som ikke kan legges flate på bordet.

• Bruk løfte- hankene for å føre borheveren nedover. Mat forsiktig boret inn i arbeidsstykke.

• Bor forsiktig når du merker at boret er i ferd med bore gjennonm arbeidsstykke. Da unngår

du splintrer.

• Sett på/av-bryteren (1) på “I” for å slå på maskinen.

• Sett på/av-bryteren (1) på “0” for å slå av maskinen.

Bruk av laseren

Laserstrålen brukes til å angi senterplasseringen av borehullet hvis du skal bore flere hull i

arbeidsemner av samme tykkelse.

• Sett bordet (5) i horisontal stilling.

• Pass på at boret og åpningen i bordet er på linje med hverandre.

• Plasser arbeidsemnet på bordet.

• Senk boret til det berører arbeidsemnet.

• Slå på laseren (44) ved å trykke på/av-bryteren (10).

• Sjekk at laserens trådkors (45) er justert mot midten av borehullet som avmerket på

arbeidsemnet. Juster laseren manuelt, om nødvendig.

• Følg «Anvisninger for bruk» når du borer et hull.

• Slå av laseren etter bruk.

5. VEDLIKEHOLD

Sørg for at maskinen er spenningsløs når det skal utføres vedlikeholdsarbeid på de

mekaniske delene.

Maskinene er konstruert slik at de kan fungere uten problemer med et minimum av vedlikehold.

Hvis maskinen rengjøres regelmessig og behandles på riktig måte, bidrar dette til å gi

maskinen en lang levetid.

Rengøring

Rengjør maskinhuset regelmessig med en myk klut, helst etter hver bruk. Sørg for at

ventilasjonsåpningene er fri for støv og skitt. Hardnakket skitt fjernes med en myk klut som er

fuktet med såpevann. Bruk ikke løsemidler som bensin, alkohol, ammoniakk o.kl. Slike stoffer

skader kunststoffdelene.
