This bulletin contains hardware identification and assembly instructions for
lugs used with Telemecanique LC1-F780 3-pole contactors.
1. “T-Bars” should already be installed per the contactor instruction sheet
(see Figure 1).

2. Follow the instructions below for proper lug installation (see Figure 2).
a. Place washer on bolt with the ridges next to the bolt head.
b. Place tang of the lug under the T-Bar.
c. Insert bolt assembly (see Step 2a) through the lug tang and then
the T-Bar.
d. Place second washer over the bolt with the smooth side next to
the T-Bar.
e. Thread nut onto the bolt until it contacts the side of the washer with
the ridges.
f. Repeat steps a through e for the second bolt assembly, washers,
and nuts.
3. Torque the nuts and bolts attaching the lugs to 510 lb-in (58 N•m).
4. After inserting the power wires into lugs, tighten the wire pressure screws
to 500 lb-in (56 N•m).
