Summary
In certain conditions with the ThrowBack Top in the open position it is possible for the left and / or right canvas
corners to release from the frame as shown below. This is strictly a cosmetic issue and there is no possibility of
further canvas separation.
This modification will ensure that the canvas tension cables that run through each side of the ThrowBack Top
maintain proper tension while in the full open position. Follow the instructions below for proper installation.

1.
Open top to the full open position.
2.
If either corner has separated from the frame, re-install
them at this time. There is no need to replace the two
sided tape on frame corners as warm ambient
temperature will re-adhere this tape.
3.
For this installation the driver’s side mechanism will be
used as reference. Locate the foam strip installed
along the side rail. From the rear most end of the
foam, carefully peal back 1 inch to access this location
for the following steps.

Remove backing from the supplied protective tape.
Begin aligning the protective tape around underside of
mechanism rail. Install protective tape as shown

beginning by aligning to the edge of the header beam
as shown. This will prevent any possibility of a rubbing
effect from the soon to be installed cable tie.
5.
Install one cable tie around the tension cable and
the mechanism arm as shown in the adjacent
picture. Ensure the head of the cable tie is located
on the inward side of the mechanism assembly.
Cut off excess cable tie once secured in place.
6.
Cut the provided two sided tape in half using one
section for each side of the top. Install this two
sided tape to the foam piece location previously
pealed back for cable tie access.
7.
Remove the second protective backing and re-
secure foam into its original location.
