Thefollowingstepsoutlinehowtoproperlyinterconnectthe9PX5KP1and9PX6KP1.Eachofthesemodelsisabundle

whichcontainsaUPSandaPPDM.TheUPSisanUninterruptiblePowerSupplywhichcontainspowerelectronicsand

batteries.ThePPDMisaPowerPassDistributionModulewhichcontainsawrap‐aroundmaintenancebypass,astepdown

transformerfor120Voutput,andoutputdistribution(receptaclesandbreakers).

1. Step1:Ensureproperalignment.Forrackmountappl icationstheUPSandPPDMshouldbeinstalled

adjacenttooneanother.Thiswillensurethattheinterconnectcables willbeabletoproperlymake

theconnections.Likewise,installationsinthetowerpositionshouldbeadjacentusingthesteps

showninChapter3

oftheEaton9PXPowerPass®DistributionModulesan dTransformers

9PXTFMR5,9PXPPDM2,9PXTFMR11,and9PXPPDM1User'sGuide.



2. Step2:Connectthe“FromUPSOutput”CableonthePPDMtotheUPS.Thecableshouldconnectto

oneofthe30A,L6‐30receptacles.
