Enables you to store, charge and update up to 16 laptops from a single
mains socket and LAN point, plus the uniquely upgradeable/replaceable
power module design offers you a truly future-proof solution.
Data Transfer
Updating a full set of laptops is simple. The LAP 16H features a built-in 19” rack for mounting a network
switch (switch not included). With fans and network cable available as fitted or retro fitted options, all
laptops can be connected to the LAN even whilst charging.
Power Management & Energy Saving Timer
The built-in Power Management system not only protects your laptops and prevents your building’s circuits
from being tripped, but it also features an energy-saving timer unit with 2 programmable timer options,
which can be set to start charging over 2 separate time periods in one 24 hour cycle
This could be from 6:30am to 8:30am ready for morning classes and then again at 12pm to 1pm ready
for afternoon classes.
The timer can also be set to charge your laptops during the evening or weekend to take advantage of
off-peak energy supply hours, helping to reduce your electricity bills.
Low maintenance
All the electronics are housed in easily removable modules which, in the event of a problem, can be
simply and safely swapped out by a non-technical person, greatly reducing down time and costs. The
unique swap-out design of these modules also means that as your school’s requirements change, the
module can also be easily upgraded.
Construction
Robust all-steel construction provides a significant theft deterrent while the separate lockable ICT
technician door offers secure access to the power module to prevent unauthorised tampering. Overall
dimensions: 1018W x 550D x 1107mmH. Features 4 robust castors for excellent manoeuvrability.
Certifications
All Bretford charging trolleys are fully tested and independently certified to BS EN 60 335–1: 2006 + A2:
2006, BS 60 950 –1: 2006/A1: 2010 ensuring the highest levels of electrical/build safety and complying
with the latest HSE manufacturing guidelines on electrical safety. 12 Year Guarantee (2 Years on electrics).
EPM Version
Features 2pin & 3pin power adaptor leads, which provide excellent cable management by dispensing with
the laptop power lead and eliminating cable spaghetti. Quick and easy to set up, plus allows storage and
charging of different laptop brands.
Intelligent Charging Version (IC)
Features an intelligent charging system configured to the specific laptops being used and offers ultra-safe
low voltage charging. The unit is supplied with built-in connecting leads, meaning no AC adaptors are
required as the leads plug directly into the laptops.
