After you have completed
steps 1 through 5, your ATA will
automatically start talking to
our servers. It will retrieve your
conguration details and other
settings during this time, so please
leave it connected and allow up to
10 minutes for your ATA to set up
automatically. Your ATA may reboot
during this process.
Ensure that you have:
• AudioCodes’ MP-204 FXS ATA
• A 12V AC/DC power cord adaptor
(use only the supplied)
You’ll also need:
• Your broadband
Internet connection
• Analogue telephones or PABX
(up to 4 ports depending on
your solution)
• RJ-11 telephone cables
• RJ-45 Ethernet cable
1. Connect the MP-204’s Ethernet
connector labelled WAN to one
of the LAN ports on your Internet
Gateway, using the Ethernet cable.
2. Do not connect.
3. Connect the MP-204’s telephone
ports labelled PHONE to analogue
telephones, using the RJ-11
telephone cables. (The number
of telephone ports depends on
your solution.)
5. Connect the MP-204 to a standard
220 VAC electrical wall outlet,
using the AC/DC power adapter;
the POWER LED is lit (green) and
when initialization completes (~1
minute), the STATUS LED changes
from red to green.
