QUICK SETUP GUIDE
5 Securely tighten the terminal
cap back onto the threaded
connector on the back of the
plate.
Tip: If necessary, you can use
needle-nose pliers to tighten
the cap.
6 Fix the inner plate to the electrical box with the
two long mounting screws (included).
7 Attach the outer plate to
the inner wall plate with
the two short mounting
screws (included).
8 Plug standard banana plugs into the
connectors on the front of the wall plate.
To install the banana jack wall plate:
1 Cut the speaker wire ush to the desired length.
2 Unscrew the terminal caps from the back of the
inner wall plate.
3 Slide the terminal cap onto the end of the
speaker wire, then slide one of the included
compression collars onto the wire.
White collar: 12-14 AWG speaker wire
Black collar: 16-18 AWG speaker wire
4 Firmly press the speaker wire into the back of the
connector so that the connectors center pin
inserts into the internal strands of the wire.

Note: If mounting the wall plate without electrical box
or junction box, please follow the below steps:

• Mounting template
Plastic wall anchors (2)
Mounting screws (2 long for wall anchors)
Below parts required for installation
(not included):
Drill and 3/8" drill bit
Drywall saw (keyhole type saw with a narrow
blade is recommended)
• Hammer
A Position the included template on the wall where
you want to mount the HDMI wall plate. Mark
the rectangular cut-out area and mounting
screw locations (A) with a pencil and remove the
template.
B Using drywall saw (not included) cut a hole in the
drywall no bigger than the dimensions of the
cut-out area of the template.
C Using a 3/8" drill bit, drill holes in the wall at the
previously marked mounting screw locations (A).
D With a hammer gently tap the two plastic wall
anchors (included) into the holes for the
mounting screw locations (A).
