1 GPS Tracking System Introduction
Mini GPS tracker UM209 integrates GPS and GSM functions, which could send
vehicle location and status to mobile and Internet. It utilizes GPS and LBS double
locating. No wires connection. Place and Work. The system structure is as below:

3 Usage Instructions
3.1 SIM card installation
1.Open the rubber plug 2.Insert GSM SIM card 3.Close the rubber plug
(SIM card chip faces ground. If it is correctly inserted, you can hear a click sound, also
you can get SIM card out by pushing. Otherwise SIM card cannot be inserted.)

3.2 Startup
Warn: Do not break, stab or throw the device into fire.
1. Charge the device for 8-12 hrs before usage.
2. Insert SIM card.
3. Take device outside. Pushing the button to “ON” position.

4 SMS Operation Instruction
4.1 Set Admin phone number
SMS command: pw,123456,zx,0086*****
Example : pw,123456,zx,008615012404563
Reply : ‘admin OK !’
Notes : National code is needed to setup admin number.
When admin number calls device SIM, device will return current location, GPS
valid(V:A) or invalid (V:V), time, speed, battery state, ID, SIM operator, and GSM
base location information. As below :

Remove the admin number
SMS Command : adm123456,
Reply : ADM ! A1 :
4.2 Fall alarm (Default Open)
When device falls or removed from current location, alarm message shall be sent to
admin number.

4.3 Low Power Alarm (Default Open)
When device power is low near 3.7V, alarm message shall be sent to admin number.
4.4 Movement Alarm
SMS command: move123456 500
Reply: move ok
Explanation: If vehicle stops at same place for 3 to 10 mins, send this command to
device, device shall send alarm message to admin number if device moves far than
500 meters.
Note: Alarm message only works once. To activate it, you need send this command
again.
4.5 Restart Device
SMS command: RST
Device shall restart at once after receiving this command.
4.6 Restore Device
SMS command: format
Restore device shall put device settings to factory default.

4.7 Set IP and Port
SMS Command : adminip123456 104.243.132.242 8000
Reply : SET IP OK ! IP :104.243.132.242#8000#
4.8 Set SIM card APN
SMS command: APN123456 APN (The second APN is SIM card APN)
Example : APN123456 CMNET
REPLY : OK ! APN :CMNET
4.9 Power Saving Mode
4.9.1 Powever Saving by Time
SMS comamnd : sleep123456 time5 (unit is minute, default 5 mins)
Reply : sleep time ok.
Explantion : If there is no any operation or alarm in 5 mins, device shall go to sleedp
mode. Close GPS, Close LED. Call or SMS command can wake up device. After wake
up, the first message is the last location data, device will send one more message when it
fetches current new location data.
4.9.2 Power Saving by Shock (Factory default)
SMS command : sleep123456 shock
Reply : sleep shock ok
Explanation : If device stay static for 5 mins, it goes to sleep mode automatically.
Close GPS, Close LED. Shock or any operation by call or SMS can wake up device.
4.9.3 Close Power Saving Mode
SMS command : sleep123456 off

Reply : sleep off ok
Explanation : Device shall work continously without goign to sleed mode. Battery
consumes fast in this mode.
5 Web Tracking Platform
5.1Login www.gpspos.net to start web tracking service with your own
account
5.2 Download wechat, register a wechat account, search
GPSCARTRACK and follow, login the system with your own account.
6 Cautions
6.1 Keep the unit dry. Any liquid, i.e. rain, moisture, may destroy or damage the insi
de circu.
6.2 Don’t use & store the unit in dusty places.
6.3 Don’t put the unit in overheated or overcooled places.
6.4 Handle carefully. Don’t vibrate or shake it violently.
6.5 Clear the unit with a piece of dry cloth. Don’t clean in chemicals, detergent.
6.6 Don’t paint the unit, this may cause some foreign materials left in between the p
arts.
