STEP 1
Assemble Top
Place the three worksurface components upside down
on a non-marring surface. Align each wing to the
center piece so the curved front edges line up and the
channels at the edge of each piece meet.
Before placing on work surface, align the two halves
of each latch assembly so that the threaded bolt
hole on one half of the assembly aligns with the
unthreaded bolt hole. Loosely connect the two halves
of the assembly by driving one 3.5” bolt through the
unthreaded hole and into the threaded hole.
Place one latch assembly into the center of the three
slots where the center worksurface components
meets the wings. Align the screw holds holes in the
latch assembly with the holes on the worksurface
components. Attach the latch assembly to the
tops with #6-9 x 1” Flat-hd Screw using a Phillips
screwdriver, then tighten the 3.5” bolt just as tight as
it will go.
Loosely install two junction plates into the slots above
and below the latch assembly with six more #6-9 x 1”
Flat-hd Screws.
Repeat for the second latch assembly and junction
plates on the other wing.
Tighten all Phillips screws.
STEP 2
Loosely Attach Leg Assemblies
Locate the two leg assemblies and two metal spacer
plates (2.25” x 6.25” with three holes).
Align each leg assembly with the work surface so the
cord comes out of the back of the leg and the leg end
bracket is on the inside of the table.
Slide a spacer plate between the leg assembly and
the worksurface so the three holes on the plate align
with the three holes on the back edge of the leg end
bracket.
Loosely attach the back of each leg assembly to the
worksurface with three #10-9 x 1” Hex Btn Hd PB
Screws using the Anthro driver.
Loosely attach the front of each leg assembly to the worksurface with three
more #10-9 x 1” Hex Button Head PB Screws using the Anthro driver.
Do not fully tighten screws yet. This will come at the end of the assembly.

STEP 4
Install the Key Pad
The key pad can be installed on either side of the table, left or right. Choose
a side, then locate the set of eight pre-drilled holes on the desired side.
Remember, the table is upside down now, so the left side of the table when it’s
upside down on the floor will be the right side of the table when it’s right side
up on its feet.
Align the key pad and its slide-out housing with the four pre-drilled holes in the
set of eight. If you don’t want the slide-out housing and want the keypad in a
fixed position, attach the key pad directly to the worksurface.
Attach the key pad to the worksurface using four silver ¾” Phillips Head Screws.
Plug the key pad into the control box.
Install two cable clips into the large holes next to the front junction plate and
the center latch assembly. Route cords from the key pad through the cable clips.
Install two cable clips into the large holes next to the leg and under the cable
trough. Route the leg cords through the cable clips.

STEP 3
Install the Cable Trough Assembly
Align the cable trough with the table so the holes on
the sides of the trough align with the holes on the
leg end bracket of the leg assemblies, and so the four
holes on the front flange of the cable trough align
with the holes on the worksurface.
Loosely attach the sides of the trough to the legs with
10-24 x 3/8” hex bolts using a 5/16" socket or nut
driver.
Loosely attach the front of the trough to the top with
four #10-9 x 1" Hex Button Head PB Screws using the
Anthro driver.
Tighten hex bolts. Leave wood screws loose for now.

STEP 6
Turn Steve's Bench Right Side Up
Carefully, turn the bench over and stand it in its
upright position. The table weighs over 200 pounds, so
the assistance of at least one other person is strongly
suggested.
Plug the leg cords into the control box. You’ve got
two cords and four ports. Choose any two ports. Plug
power cord in to the cable trough.
CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR STEVE'S BENCH ASSEMBLY IS COMPLETE!
STEP 5
Attach Cross Pan
Locate the screw plate in the channel at the back of
each leg. Using a tape measure, position the bottom
of each plate 8" up from the top of the foot.
Align the cross pan with the nut plate on the each
leg assembly so the Anthro logo faces the front of the
table, close to the shelf.
Attach the cross pan to each leg assembly with two M5-0.80
Nylock Nuts using a 5/16" hex socket or 8mm nut driver.
Tighten all wood screws on the front and back leg brackets, and
the wood screws for the cable trough.
