2.1. Bluetooth Pairing & Connection
Step 1. From off, slide TX/RX switch to TX position. Then turn on BTI-025 –
press
and hold MFB button for 3 seconds.
Step 2. Enter PAIRING MODE – double click MFB, the LED flashes BLUE
very quickly.
Step 3. Set your Bluetooth headphones/receiver to *PAIRING MODE*
Step 4. Keep the devices close and wait for 5~30 seconds. Once connected, the
LED on BTI-025 will stay BLUE.
PAIRING MODE: Discoverable mode for Bluetooth device, normally the LED
flashes
very quickly constantly or flashes two colors alternately.
2.2. Connect to two Bluetooth headphones/speakers simultaneously
Step 1. Connect to your first device as above. Then turn off the first device and
BTI-025.
Step 2. Set second device to PAIRING MODE.
Step 3. Set BTI-025 to PAIRING MODE again – Turn on, then double click
MFB. The
LED flashes BLUE very quickly.
Step 4. Keep the devices close and wait for 5~30 seconds. Once connected, the
LED
on BTI-025 will stay BLUE. Then turn off BTI-025 again.
Step 5. Turn on the first device and BTI-025 again, wait for 5~30 seconds, BTI-
025 will
automatically connect to two devices.
Note: If BTI-025 can’t re-connect to two devices, please try to turn it off and on
again.
2.3. Connect BTI-025 to TV or other audio source
Connect BTI-025 to your TV or other analog audio source via 3.5mm audio cable.
Then
BTI-025 is ready for use now.
Note: If no sound from headphones after connection, please use a wired earphones
to test if you can heard the sound from the audio jack on TV or audio source.
3. As a Bluetooth Receiver 4. LED indications
3.1. Bluetooth Pairing & Connection
Step 1. From off, slide TX/RX switch to RX position.
Step 2. Turn on BTI-025 – press and hold MFB button for 3 seconds.
Step 3. Enter PAIRING MODE – double click MFB, the LED flashes BLUE
and RED
alternately.
Step 4. Activate Bluetooth on your phone/tablet, search & select “Avantree BTI-
025”
to connect. Once connected, the LED on BTI-025 will stay BLUE.
Step 5. Connect BTI-025 to your wired headphone/speaker system via 3.5mm
audio
cable. Then you can wireless streaming music now.
3.2. Connect to two phones/tablets simultaneously
Step 1. Connect the first phone as above.
Step 2. Set BTI-025 to PAIRING MODE again – double click MFB, the LED
flashes
BLUE and RED alternately.
Step 3. Activate Bluetooth on your second phone/tablet, search and select
“Avantree BTI-025” to connect.
Step 4. Turn off BTI-025 and turn on again. It will automatically connect to two
devices simultaneously.
5. Charging
When the LED flashes RED, you should recharge the device. It normally takes
about 2 hours to fully charge the battery. The LED will stay RED when charging
and
will turn off when charging is complete.
Charging Requirement
You can connect BTI-025 via the supplied micro USB cable to your own USB
chargers (wall charger/travel charger/car charger, etc.) with 5V/500mA-1A or PC
USB port. It’s ok to use most mobile phone chargers on the market.
Note: We suggest you fully charge the device at least every two months.
6. Important Notices & FAQ
1). AptX Low Latency
BTI-025 just support aptX low latency in TX mode. In this mode, if you still
experiencing
audio delay, it is most likely due to your headphones/receiver without Low
Latency
Support.
Due to aptX technology limitation, aptX Low Latency codec does NOT support
under
dual link.
2). Reconnect
Once powered on, BTI-025 will reconnect with the last connected device
automatically
within 5 seconds. If not, you may press MFB once to stimulate the process.
3). Auto power off
Once disconnected over 5 minutes, BTI-025 will automatically power itself off.
4).How to erase the previous pairing history?
Step 1. Turn Off BTI-025.
Step 2. After 3 seconds, slide the TX/RX switch to other side. Then power on.
5). What is the PIN code?
If a PIN code is required for pairing, try 0000 (four zeroes), 8888 (four eights),
1111
(four ones), or 1234.
6). Can I use BTI-025 while charging?
Yes, you can. But it will automatically turn itself off when charging. Please turn
BTI-025 on again, it will automatically reconnect to the last device.
Note: The USB outputs of some TVs or laptops are unstable. When used while
charging, we suggest you connect to a wall charger instead of a USB port.
