DANLERS DSSGD CB400W is a soft-start grid dimmer, designed to fit into Crabtree grid plates. It allows for smooth switching and dimming of various types of lighting, including incandescent lamps, mains halogen lamps, dimmable compact fluorescent or LED lamps, and dimmable electronic transformers. With a maximum load capacity of 400W, it can handle a substantial amount of lighting. The soft-start feature gradually increases the output voltage, which can extend the lifespan of lamps, especially low voltage ones.

Load cannot be controlled by slave switch:

Troubleshooting

• DSSGDCB400W 40mm(minimum)

• DSSGDEU400W 35mm(minimum)

Installation procedure

1.Pleasereadthesenotescarefullybeforecommencingwork.

Incaseofdoubtpleaseconsultaqualiedelectrician.

Makesurethepowerisisolatedfromthecircuit.

2.Thesoftstartgriddimmershouldbeconnectedas:

L Live

V Variable (dimmed) output

S Slaveconnection

3.Typicalwiringdiagramsareshownopposite.

4.Existingtwo-waystrapperlinescanusuallybeusedtolinktheLive

andSlavewiresfromthesoftstartdimmertotheslaveswitch(es).

5.ThetwoterminalsonDANLERS Slave Switches are labelled as:

GridSlaveswitches L,S

PlatedSlaveswitches Pushbutton

The terminal connections are interchangeable.

6.Oncethewiringhasbeencompletedandveried,switchonthesupply

and test the operation.
