Resistive Load

RESLOADE

DANLERSRESLOADE,resistiveload,canbeusedtotrytoeliminatelamp

instabilityandickerwhendimmingnon-resistiveloadssuchasmains

directlydimmableLED lamps, compactuorescentlamps or dimmable

transformers. The RESLOADE is designed for DANLERS Grid trailing

edgedimmers(DQDGD)whendimmingLEDlampsalthoughitmaybe

suitableforusewithothermanufacturersdimmerswhen dimmingLED

lamps.InappropriateuseoftheRESLOADEmayinvalidatethewarranty.

For direct mains dimmable lamps the RESLOADE is connected at

asuitablelighttting,in parallel across the load,betweenthedimmed

variableliveandneutral.

For mains dimmable transformerstheRESLOADEisconnectedacross

theprimary(variablemainsinput)sideofthetransformer.

TheRESLOADEisdesignedtobeplacedintotheceilingvoidandcan

be passed through a 63mm diameter cutout, the typical size for down

lighters,asshownbelow.

TheRESLOADEhasaneffectiveloadof10Wandanoperatingtemperature

of approximately 40°C above ambient. It should be installed where air

owisnotrestricted.Itshouldnotbecoveredbyinsulatingmaterialsor

positionednearanyheatsourcesorheatsensitiveobjects.
