CROSS SEAMS
Keep all cross seams to a minimum
Find and separate a row in each piece of carpet to be seamed.
On one piece of carpet leave on a high cut yarn row down the length of carpet.
On other piece of carpet leave on the loop yarn row , then cut along the yarn rows described above using a cushion
back cutter.
Use the above procedure for all cross seams
Allow seam to completely cool off before stretching.
Pull both pieces together and move one or the other up or down to bring on pattern match, if satisfied with seam fit and pattern match.
pattern match then apply a seam sealer to both cut edges and allow to dry.
Using a premium quality seam tape, seam pieces together and follow seaming with a round wheel seam roller, rolling
up and down seam, use a seam weight to hold seam flat while seam is cooling off.
