IMPORTANT NOTES
This manual describes the behaviour of the phone with the version:
Firmware version: 47.145.3.4 (check version in Settings > System > About Multimedia Terminal
> Build number)
Wildix Phone Application version: 2.2.63 (check version in Phone > Advanced> Settings >
About)
Features added with the latest versions:
Simultaneous use of Bluetooth and WiFi (version 2.2.21)

Connecting the phone
1. Connect the Receiver to the WP600A phone using the handset cord
2. Connect the LAN port of phone to the Wildix Switch using the Ethernet cable
3. (Optional) Connect the External Power Adapter (article on demand) to the Power jack of the
phone and plug the Power Adapter into an electrical outlet
4. The LCD display of the phone displays the booting screen. As soon as the Wildix Application is
displayed, the phone is ready

Headset button: Switch between the Headset/Receiver modes
Mute button: Turn off/on the microphone during a call
Volume control button: Adjust the volume
Speaker button: Switch between Handsfree/Receiver modes

Confirmation button: confirm different operations, accept a call
Send button: can be used to confirm the phone number

Menu navigation
Feature keys button: Shortcut to Function keys, press again to move to the next page of
Function keys
Voicemail button: Shortcut to access the Voicemail (from Phone App)
Phonebook button: Shortcut to People menu (from Phone App)
Redial button: Press to redial the last called number (from Phone App)
Back button: Go back to the previous menu
Home menu
Context menu: view the list of available operations in each phone menu
LED Indicator
The LED indicator is situated in the upper right part of the phone display and notifies about:
New Voicemail / Incoming call (blinking blue)

Home screen by default contains shortcuts to the following applications and folders:

Notification/Status bar
Notification/status bar is located in the upper part of the screen and contains:
Notification drawer (on the left): notifications from applications and services (sound source
device, incoming calls, current call, missed calls)
Status bar (on the right): the basic status information about your device (Bluetooth device,
headset, Wi-Fi, Ethernet connection, time)
Slide your finger from the top of the screen downwards to pull down the Notification drawer:
From Notification drawer it is possible to:
Access an application: tap the notification of the application
Dismiss notifications: swipe the notification with your finger to the left or to the right
Manage an application: long press on the notification, the “App info” icon appears (by tapping
“App info” you access the information about the application)
Access the most popular phone settings:
Tap the icon in the upper right part of the Notifications drawer to be able to:
Adjust Brightness
Access phone Settings
Switch on / Switch off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth...

First time login
Change language
1. Go to Settings > Personal > Language & input
2. Tap “Language”
3. Select the language from the list
Network connection
Go to Settings > Wireless & Networks and select which Network you would like to connect to:
Ethernet
Wi-Fi
Ethernet
Tap “On” in front of “Ethernet”, the phone should automatically receive the IP address from the
DHCP server

In case the phone has not received an IP address automatically, you can set up the Static IP:
Tick off “Use static IP” and enter the settings manually
Wi-Fi
Tap “On” in front of “Wi-Fi”, available networks are displayed in the right part of the screen.
To search for new networks:
1) Press Context menu button or tap the icon
2) Tap “Scan”
To connect to the network:
1. Select the network from the list of available networks
2. Enter the password (if necessary) and tap “Connect”

Login to Wildix application
After the phone has booted, the Wildix Application opens automatically. Otherwise tap Phone icon from
the Home menu.
1. Tap the icon to access the Settings tab
2. Tap “Account”
3. Enter:
Domain: PBX IP address or domain name
User name: extension number, user name or email address of user
Password: user WEB password
4. Click the icon
5. Go to Settings > Advanced > Check for Updates to check if there is a new version available. If
yes, follow the instructions on the screen to install a new version.
Set up the sync of Phonebooks

Step 1. Download the WildixDAV application
1. The first time you open the Phone application, the prompt to download the WildixDAV
application appears:
2. Click “Update” and wait till the application is installed:
As soon as it is installed, the WildixDAV icon appears in the applications folder:

Step 2. Add a new WildixDAV account
1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Add a new WildixDAV account:
Change https:// to http://
Enter your Wildix PBX IP address or domain name
Enter your user name and password
2. Click “NEXT”
Step 3. Select the phonebooks to add for the sync
1. Select the Phonebooks to add for the sync:
NOTE: it is necessary to add phonebooks one by one, so tick off one phonebook and then repeat
the steps 2 and 3 to add more phonebooks.

2. Enter the local name for this phonebook:
3. Click “ADD ACCOUNT”
Now you can press the Context menu button and select “Manage sync accounts” to access the
“ACCOUNTS” folder of the phone’s Settings menu to see the date and time of the last sync:
To add more phonebooks for the sync: Repeat the Steps 2 and 3.
Set up a Google account
You can sync your phone with your Google account. It allows you to use Google Calendar and to
download applications from Google Play Market.

1. Tap Settings
2. Go down to Accounts section and tap “+ Add account”
3. Tap Google
4. Tap “Existing” to use your existing Google account, or tap “New” to create a new one
“Existing”: Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to sign in with your existing Google
Account
“New”: Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to create a Google account
Note: During the sign in process you are requested to choose which data you would like to sync:

Change status
Tap the icon to change your status
1. Select the status (Online / DND / Away)
2. (Optional) Enable the expiry date and time for your status (only DND or Away): Tap the field
“Until” and select the date and time
3. (Optional) Enter the status message: Tap the input field and enter the message using the
pop-up keyboard on the screen

History
Tap the icon to access the History tab
List of All calls / Missed calls with call duration information
To clear the history:
1. Tap the Pencil icon
2. Click the icon near the call that you wish to delete from the history

To view call details:
Tap the icon
To make a call:
Tap on the element (number or contact name) from the list
Otherwise tap on the number that you wish to dial in Call details window on the right
Dialpad
Tap the icon to access the Dialpad tab
To make a call:
1. Enter an internal or external number using the DTMF phone keyboard or the pop-up keyboard
on the screen (tap on the keyboard icon): Search results with status is displayed under the
input field
2. Press the green icon to call the number or click the contact from search results below
Feature Keys, BLF Keys / Expansion module
Monitoring of features and colleagues:
Max 16 elements without expansion module *
Max 120 elements (three pages) with expansion module
* At the moment max 120 elements are supported, Expansion module will be added in one of the
following versions
By default (if no Feature Keys are assigned), the following screen appears when you enter this menu:
Note:
Only the colleagues added to Roster can be displayed in this menu
You can add colleagues to roster from Wildix Collaboration, read Wildix Collaboration - User Guide for
more information or from WMS > Users
The following Feature keys are supported:
Colleague
monitor status
call (tap the element and select “call”)
call pickup (tap the element while the status is “ringing” and select “pickup”)
Speed Dial
Trunk
monitor status for BRI/PRI/FXO/GSM (green/red)
call through this trunk (if green)

Send DTMF
You can configure the Feature keys from Wildix Collaboration > Settings > Feature keys (read Wildix
Collaboration - User Guide for more info
) or from WMS > Users.
As soon as Feature keys have been configured and saved, they are displayed in Feature keys menu of
the WP600A:
To make an action on the element displayed in this menu: tap the element and select the action,
example:

In case you have more than one page of Feature keys, tap the arrow icon to navigate between the
pages:
Settings
Tap the icon to access the Settings tab
Note: All the settings are synced with Wildix Collaboration, except for Ringtone (Ringtone
selection is local)
Personal and Account settings
Account:

Domain: PBX IP address or domain name
User Name: your extension number
Password: your WEB password
Personal:
E-mail
Mobile: this number is used for Mobile Extension management
Ringtone:
Ringtones from Phone settings are displayed, tap the Ringtone to playback the
melody, then tap “OK” to apply it
Ringtone volume:
Use the slider to adjust the volume level
Internal and External Call features (Call forwarding, call waiting, mobility)
Internal:
Busy call forward / Unavailable call forward / Force call forward
Activates call forwarding if Busy, if Unavailable or Force call forwarding to Voicemail or
to another number.
To enable:
1. Switch ON
2. Tap on the destination field underneath
3. Enter the number using the phone keyboard or the pop-up keyboard on the
screen or enter VOICEMAIL
Call waiting
Allows you to receive more than one call at a time
To enable: Switch ON

Mobility with timeout
Allows you to receive incoming calls also to your mobility extension number after the
specified timeout.
To enable*:
1. Switch ON
2. Tap the timeout field underneath and enter the numeric value in seconds
*(note: user mobile number must be previously entered in Settings > Account >
Personal > Mobile)
To leave the menu, tap the arrow icon, tap “Save” to apply the new settings:
External:
Same Features as for Internal class, in addition, this menu allows you to select the Ringtone for
External Call Class
Switch ON to activate the class
Advanced
Update source: here you can insert the different source for performing the upgrade
Note: this option allows you to install preview versions, the changelog is published on the
Wildix
website
