Get started with the APEX Console
After onboarding, you can access the APEX Console. The APEX Console provides online access to manage your storage
subscriptions, billing information, and services. You can start onboarding users while waiting for service to be provisioned. Your
subscription order is visible in the APEX Console, but details are not available until after service activation.
To get started with your APEX Data Storage Services, log in to the APEX Console and perform the initial tasks that are listed
below. See the APEX Console User Guide for APEX Data Storage Services for more detailed procedures.
● Add users using Identity Management.
● Select your subscription under Active Subscriptions.

View current subscription costs using Billing & Payments.
● View invoices for your subscription using Billing & Payments.
Access the Dell Technologies Managed Services Portal
Access the Dell Technologies Managed Services (DTMS) Portal from the APEX Console for additional support of your APEX
Data Storage Services offer.
Use the DTMS Portal to log service requests and incidents for resolution by Dell Technologies Managed Services. On the
Subscription Details page for your subscription, click Get Service.
● Service Request—Log a service request for actions such as logging an inquiry, creating protection policies, managing
replications, and so on.
○ Create a service request from the items displayed in the Service Catalog tab in the DTMS Portal. The catalog items
that are listed on the first page are the most frequently used items. Check the Service Catalog categories on the right
for more catalog items.
○ If you do not see a catalog item that meets your need, create a service request from the General Service Request
catalog item.
● Incident—Log an incident for issues such as your system not working correctly or if there is a system outage. Create an
incident from the Incidents menu in the left navigation pane.

Access the Element Manager
Access the block or file Element Manager (storage manager interface) from the APEX Console.
On the Subscription Details page for your subscription, click Manage Storage Resources to launch the Element Manager. In
the Element Manager, enter the credentials that are provided to you by DTMS.
Within the Element Manager, you can perform the storage management tasks that are described in Roles and Responsibilities.
NOTE:
After launching the Element Manager, click help for more information about working in the Element Manager.
Access CloudIQ
CloudIQ is the AI/ML-powered, proactive monitoring and predictive analytics, cloud-based application for the Dell Technologies
product portfolio. CloudIQ currently supports storage, storage area network, data protection, hyperconverged, and converged
system products.
On the Subscription Details page for your subscription, click View Capacity Performance & Health to launch CloudIQ.
