Installation, assembly, start-up and maintenance may only be performed by appropriately trained personnel.
Check the nameplate for operating conditions.
Instruments must not be connected to power supply before reading instructions described in the manual.

1 Installation
The TT 12 C is designed to fit inside connection heads type DIN B or larger.
A convenient way to install the transmitter is to use the mounting kits for in-head and DIN rail
mounting. In order to minimize measuring errors make sure the connecting screws are tightened
enough, 0.5-0.6 Nm.
Connect input, output and power supply according to “Electrical connection”.
The transmitter is configured from a mobile device via NFC® communication, by using the app
OPTICHECK Temperature Mobile. The app is avaiable for free download on App Store and
Google Play.

Installation procedure: Step 1
1. Place the transmitter on the clip.
2. Press down the transmitter until it is attached to the clip.
Screw the transmitter on to the clip.
Installation procedure: Step 2
1. Hook one end of the clip into the rail.
2. Push the other end down until it snaps onto the rail.
3. Release by pushing the hook and at the same time lift the
clip out of the rail.

1. Make sure that you have a mobile device with NFC® communication activated.
2. Download the app OPTICHECK Temperature Mobile to your mobile device.

Configuration procedure:
1. Launch the app by clicking on the App icon (for Iphone®) or holding your mobile device against
the transmitter on the part of the device where NFC® is located (for Android).
2. Click on “Read Configuration” and hold your mobile device against the transmitter as explained
in the first section.
3. In the app you can edit the following:
a. Sensor type and number of wires
b. Measuring range
c. Upscale or downscale sensor error indication
d. Filter level
e. TAG
f. Password
4. Once you have set the desired values in the app, you transfer it to the transmitter by clicking the
transfer button and holding the mobile device against the transmitter until a green check box
appears confirming that the transfer has been completed.

All work on the electrical connections may only be carried out with the power disconnected.
Observe the national regulations for electrical installations.
