MOTION DETECTOR SENSOR
1] learn it in
Access the Home Screen on
your tattletale Consumer Unit.
1] press Settings
2] enter Primary PIN
3] press Advanced
4] press Sensors
5] press Add Sensor
It will ask for your sensor to
be placed in “learn mode”.
6] Press and hold on
tamper switch
note: The Consumer Unit will
sound to indicate sensor has
been learned in successfully
2] set it up
1] set Name:
setting a specific
name & location
seperates sensors
2] set Type:
instant or delay
3] allow Bypass:
determines whether it
can be bypassed during
arming cycle
use instant only if sensor
will not be tripped during
Entry/Exit to disarm system
while in Away mode
Sensor is set to Interior Delay
by default.

Remove Backplate from
Sensor. Use either 2 upper or
2 lower screw holes. Mount
height at 7.5 ft. Attach
Sensor on Backplate
Remove Backplate. Use 2
screw holes in center. Mount
height at 7.5 ft. Attach
Sensor on Backplate
Sensor can be mounted on
corner or wall, or ceiling using
supplied brackets

Remove screw on bottom of
Sensor and remove backplate
Refer to Figures on right for bracket mounting

Screw part A to part B
using small screw.
Select either the
Corner Mount [ D ] or
Wall Mount [ C ].
Mount selected
bracket at a height of
7.5 ft. on the wall using
supplied long screws
with anchors.
Place the assembly of
parts A and B on the
shaft of the desired
mounting bracket.
Insert screw on top of
shaft to hold bracket in
place.

Attach the sensor to
mounted backplate
with the screw at the
bottom to secure.

After the Sensor trips (sensing
motion) it will not trip again for 3
minutes
During normal operation, the LED
will never illuminate. The LED only
illuminates in test mode
NOTE:
Place supplied magnet over
arrow on left side of sensor,
then remove (LED light
indicates detection)
Walk out coverage area
making sure the LED flashes
for every movement. Test lasts
for 1 minute
NOTE: allow a 3 second delay
between flashes.
