When using any electrical
appliance, basic safety
precauons should always be
followed, including:
This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilies or lack of
experience and knowledge if
they have been given
supervision or instrucon
concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they
are older than 8 and
supervised. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of
reach of children less than 8
years old.
Always ensure the voltage on
the rang label corresponds
to the voltage in your home.
Check the power cord and
plug regularly for any
damage. If the cord or the
plug is damaged, it must be
replaced by a qualied
electrician or a service repair
centre. If in doubt please
contact our customer service
team.
The appliance is intended for
domesc use only. Industrial
or commercial use will void
the warranty. The supplier
cannot be held responsible
for injury or damage if the
appliance has been used for
anything other than its
intended use.
Incorrect operaon and use
can damage the appliance
and cause injury to the user.
Do not use the appliance if it
has been dropped or
damaged in any way. If the
unit has been damaged take
the unit for examinaon and
or repair by an authorised
service agent.
Do not immerse or expose
the motor assembly, plug or
the power cord in water or
any other liquid for any
reason.
If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by someone
who is suitably qualied to
avoid a potenal hazard.
Do not let the cord hang over
the edge of a table or
counter. Ensure that the cord
is not in a posion where it
can be pulled or tripped over
accidentally.
Do not allow the cord to
touch hot surfaces and do not
place the cord near hot gas,
electric burners or in a
heated oven.
Use of an extension cord with
this appliance is not
recommended. However if it
is necessary to use an
extension cord, ensure that
the extension cord is equal to
or greater than the power
consumpon of the appliance
to avoid overheang of the
appliance and extension cord.
Do not use any other
appliance on the extension
cord. Do not place the
extension cord in a posion
where it can be pulled on by
children or animals or be
tripped over.
Always operate the appliance
on a smooth, even and stable
surface. Do not place the unit
on a hot surface.
Always remove the plug of
the appliance safely. Do not
pull on the appliances cord to
remove the appliance plug
from the electrical socket.
Never handle or operate the
appliance with wet hands.
Under no circumstances is
this product to be hard wired
into an electrical ring main.
Appliance specic safety
instrucons
When carrying the unit
ensure that you hold the
motor housing with both
hands, do not carry the unit
by holding only the hopper
plate or the head.
Do not x the cung blade
and cung plate when using
the kibbe aachment.
Never feed food into the
appliance by hand, always
use the food pusher.
Do not grind hard food such
as bones, nuts etc.
Do not grind ginger and other
materials with hard bres.
Do not use the metal grinder
for more than 10 minutes
without allowing the
appliance to cool for a 10
minute period.
The reverse funcon is
prohibited while the
appliance is operang. For
example do not put the
switch to “On” and also the
“R”, wait at least one minute
unl the grinder has come to
a complete stop, otherwise it
may cause abnormal noise
levels, vibraon or a
transitory electric spark in
the appliance ulmately
causing damage to the user
and the appliance.
Aer using the grinder there
may be a lile food le in
the grinder head. This is
normal and is not a cause for
concern or complaint.
Do not force the unit with
excessive pressure as this
may cause the unit to jam.
When the circuit breaker
acvates do not switch the
appliance on.
Before rst me use
Check that the voltage indicated on
the rang label corresponds to the
mains voltage in your home.
Wash all parts (except body in warm
water).
Before plugging in the appliance,
ensure the appliance is switched o.

Assembling the meat grinder
1. To aach the head to the meat
grinder, place it over the inlet at a 45
degree angle and rotate the head an
-clockwise unl you hear a click.
2. Place the feed screw into the head
and push unl you feel resistance.
3. Place the cung blade onto the
screw, make sure the blades face out.
4. Place the cung plate over the
cung blade. Make sure to line up
the protrusions on the plate with the
slots in the head.
5. Screw the xing ring ghtly over the
head and place the hopper plate on
the head and x it into posion.
Mincing meat
Cut all food into small pieces (skinless,
boneless and fat free meat is
recommended, approximate size: 20
mm x 20 mm x 60 mm) so that they t
easily into the hopper opening.
To begin mincing meat press the
"ON" buon.
Feed foods into the hopper plate by
using the food pusher only.
Aer all the meat has been
processed, press the OFF buon to
stop the appliance, then remove the
plug from the mains.
It is recommend that you only use
250g of meat per me.
Please be aware the maximum me
you can use this appliance
connuously for is 10 minutes. Aer
that, leave the machine to rest for 10
minutes.
Reverse funcon
If the appliance jams, switch o the
appliance by pushing the ON/OFF
buon. Next, push in the REVERSE
buon.
The feed screw will be rotang in the
opposite direcon and the head will
become empty.
If it doesn't work switch o the unit
and clean it.
Making sausages
Before starng please assemble sausage
aachment.
1. Hold the head (9) and insert it into
the inlet, turn it clockwise so that the
head is secured ghtly.
2. Place the feed screw (10), the cung
blade (15) and the desired cung
plate (11-13) into the head (8) as
shown in the sequence.
3. Place the sausage aachment (7) next
to the cung blade (15), then screw
the xing ring (14) ght and place the
hopper plate (1) on the head and x it
into posion.
4. Put the sausage skin over the sausage
skin aachment.
5. Press the “ON” buon.
6. Feed foods into the hopper plate (1) by
using the food pusher only.
You should stop the machine when the
sausage skin is lled with meat, and let out
air with the needle. Tie the sausage skin,
they are now ready to cook.
Making Kibbeh
Method
1. Mince the meat twice.
2. Brown the onion in a frying pan and
add the minced muon, all spice, salt
and our.
Shell
Method
1. Mince the meat three mes and mix
all the ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Once you have ground the meat and
mixed it with all the other ingredients,
grind the mixture three mes.
3. Remove the cung blade and cung
plate from the head an assemble the
kibbeh aachment.
4. Push the ground mixture through the
machine and form the shell of the
kibbeh.
5. Insert the stung into the shell, tamp
shut at both ends and deep fry unl
golden brown.
Muon 100g
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Onion (nely chopped) 20g
Flour 20g
Allspice To taste
Salt To taste
Lean meat 450g
Flour 150-200g
Nutmeg (grated) 1/2
Pepper To taste
Cayenne pepper To taste
Sausage recipe
Method
1. Mince the pork unl the desired
consistency is reached.
2. In a bowl, add the dry ingredients to
the minced pork. Mix with hands
unl the dry ingredients are evenly
distributed.
3. Soak the skins in water for 10
minutes, then feed them onto the
sausage aachment.
4. Follow the steps found on page six.
Bacon and sage hamburger
Method
1. Mince the pork, bacon and garlic
together on the coarse grinding plate,
twice.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pork,
bacon and garlic with the salt, pepper
and sage - mix all the ingredients
together using your hands.
3. Gently form the meat into four balls,
and using the Andrew James Quarter
Pound Burger Press, make four paes.
Make a 5cm indentaon using your
thumb in the burger paes, this is to
prevent the burger from bulging when
grilled.
4. Fry the burgers to yours taste.
Pork Shoulder (80% Meat/
20% Fat)
900g
Garlic powder 4 tsp
Thyme 2 tsp
Fennel seed 1 tsp
Parsley 1 tsp
Black pepper 2 tsp
Salt 2 tbsp
Diced pork 450g
Bacon Five rashers
Garlic One clove
Dried sage 1/2tsp
Pepper 1/4tsp
Salt 1tsp
Cleaning
Remove parts from the main body
and remove any meat. Wash each
part in warm, soapy water.
Do not use bleaching soluon as this
will discolour the aluminium. Never
use a soda soluon.
Wipe the main body with a damp
cloth, do not immerse in water.
Thinners and petrol will crack or
change the colour of the unit.
Wipe all of the cung parts with
vegetable oil to protect them from
rusng, then wrap them in
greaseproof paper to prevent
discolouring/rusng.
Do not place any parts in the
dishwasher.

Returned products must be cleaned and
returned to us in as close to delivery
condion as possible.
If your product develops a problem
within the rst 12 months of the xed
warranty, we will pay all shipping costs to
have it returned to us. Aer 12 months
the customer will be liable for the cost of
returning the product to us. We will then
pay to have the repaired/replaced item
shipped back to the customer.

refund, you have the right to do so within

Class II double insulaon. This tool is
double insulated therefore no
earth connecon is required.
Precauons should be followed
for safe cable management and
connecon to the power supply
If a new mains plug needs to be ed
follow the ng instrucons supplied
with good quality BS1363A plugs. If in
doubt consult a qualied electrician or
appliance repair agent.
Safely dispose of the old plug.
Connect the brown lead to the live
terminal “L” in the new plug.
Connect the blue lead to the
neutral “N” terminal.
Warning! For double insulated product
no connecon is made to the Earth
terminal.
Recommended fuse: 13 A.
If an extension cable is required, a 2 core
or 3 core (earthed) extension can be
used. To avoid overheang the
extension cable should be rated no less
than 13A and be fully unwound before
use.
Do not aempt to modify electrical plugs
or sockets or aempt to make an
alternave connecon to the electrical
supply.
