Monitoring System. The RTU-720 is a remote test unit (RTU) that allows you
to monitor your fiber network.
Main Features
The RTU is a rack-mounted unit that combines a test head controller (THC)
unit and optical test head (OTH) unit.
Placed at an installation site, the RTU directly controls the measurements.
One RTU can control many optical test head (OTH) units simultaneously,
with each OTH unit containing one OTDR.
The THC unit has an Ethernet port for local access on the front panel and
ports on the rear panel for connecting to the OTH unit, LAN, telephone line,
and to an optional external optical switch.
Four LEDs on the front panel of the OTH unit monitor the status of the THC,
