Quick Start Guide of CV10- ControlVIT Series
2 / 5 EL086A01
❹ Standard wiring
Ground the inverter
Check the ratings of the circuit breaker
Check whether the motor voltage and power are compatible with those of the inverter
●4.1 Main circuit
L N (+) PB U V W
●4.2 Control circuit
❺ Operation and start up
●5.1 Power on
Power on after checking as followings:
Checking Content
Voltage of the power supply
Please check the voltage. Single phase 230V:
220V(-15%)~240V(+10%)
Ground the input terminals, L and N, with proper techniques
Check the inverter and the motor are grounded correctly
Connection between output
terminals of the inverter and
motor terminals
Please ensure the output terminals of the inverter are
connected tightly with the motor terminals
Connection of the terminals
of control circuit
Please ensure the terminals of the control circuit are connected
tightly with other control devices
Control terminals of the
inverter
Please ensure all terminals of the control circuit are on the
status of OFF
Loads status Please ensure whether the motor is non-load
Connect the inverter with the motor; Connect the inverter with the power supply
Terminal
sign Terminal name Function
L Power input of the main circuit Single phase AC input terminals which are
generally connected with the power supply.
N
U
The inverter output 3-phase AC output terminals which are generally
connected with the motor.
V
W
PB Braking resistor terminal PB and (+) are connected to the external resistor.
(+)
Grounding terminal Each machine has a standard PE terminal.
Note:
Do not use asymmetrically motor cables. If there is a symmetrically grounding conductor in the motor
cable in addition to the conductive shield, connect the grounding conductor to the grounding terminal
at the inverter and motor ends.
Route the motor cable, input power cable and control cables separately.
C3 optional input filter is parallel-connected with the input of the inverter if selected.
Terminal
name Description
ROA RO relay output
Contactor capability: 3A/AC250V, 1A/DC30V
ROC
+10V Local power supply +10V
AI
1. Input range: AI voltage and current can be chosen: 0~10V/0~20mA; can be shifted by
J3 , -10V~+10V
2. Input impedance: voltage input: 20k; current input: 500
3. Resolution: the minimum one is 5mV when 10V corresponds to 50Hz
4. Deviation ±1%, 25℃
Note: the potentiometer sets AI1 parameters and AI terminal sets AI2 parameters.
AO
1. Output range: 0~10V or 0~20mA
2. The voltage or the current output depends on the jumper
3. Deviation±1%,25℃
24V Local 24V power supply
GND +10V reference zero potential
S1 Switch input 1 1. Internal impedance: 3.3k
2. 0~4V corresponds to low level input and 7~30V
corresponds to high level input
3. Max input frequency:1kHz
4. All are programmable digital input terminal. User can set
the terminal function through function codes.
S2 Switch input 2
S3 Switch input 3
S4 Switch input 4
S5 Switch input 5 Common terminal for S5 and Y, can be switched by J1
Note: S5 and Y can not be used at the same time.
Y Digital output terminal
485+ 485 communication interface and 485 differential signal interface
If it is the standard 485 communication interface, please use twisted pairs or shielded
cable.

●5.2 Displaying
The keypad displays as following after power on:
NO. Name Content
Normal
Display the running frequency
RUN/TUNE LED is on
Hz LED is on
Fault
(for example: external fault)
The displaying is determined by the fault type
Please refer to the fault solutions of the operation
manual of CV10 products
TRIP LED is on
●5.3 Parameters setting
“”: means the set value of the parameter can be modified on stop and running state;
“◎”: means the set value of the parameter can not be modified on the running state;
“”: means the value of the parameter is the real detection value which can not be modified.
Note:Automatic check constraints are available to avoid errors for the modifying of the parameters.
