Getting Started
Pull the tab out of the battery compartment
door.
Press the record button and play button
at the same time and speak your message
into the speaker grille and then release.
For best results, hold the Talking Symbols
about 6 inches away.
Play your message by pressing the play
button.
Insert your symbol into the clear pocket on
top of the play button.
To Change Batteries
Talking Symbols uses three common button cell
batteries found at retailers. You may either
replace the three individual batteries through
your local retailer or purchase a replacement
battery cartridge, with three new batteries,
through AbleNet. To order call 800-322-0956.
Product number 8-00100 applies to the
batteries.
Open the battery compartment door on the
back of the device.
Remove the battery cartridge.
Place the cartridge back in the battery
compartment, battery side down, and close
the compartment door.
