GENERAL SAFETY RULES
FOR POWER TOOLS

. KNOW YOUR TOOL
Read and understand the owners manual and labels affixed to
the tool. Learn its application and limitations as well as its
specific potential hazards.
2. GROUND THE TOOL.
This tool is equipped with an approved 3-conductor cord and
a 3-prong grounding type plug to fit the proper grounding type
receptacle. The green conductor in the cord is the grounding
wire.
NEVER connect the green wire to a live terminal.
3. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE.
Keep in good working order, properly adjusted and aligned.
4. REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND
WRENCHES.
Form habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting
wrenches are removed from tool before turning it on.
5. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN.
Cluttered areas and benches invite accidents. Make sure the
floor is clean and not slippery due to wax or sawdust build-up.
6. AVOID DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT.
Don’t use power tools in damp or wet locations or expose
them to rain. Keep work area well lit and provide adequate
surrounding work space.
7. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY.
All visitors should be kept a safe distance from work area.
8. MAKE WORKSHOP CHILD-PROOF.

3. DON’T OVERREACH.
Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
14. MAINTAIN TOOL WITH CARE.
Keep tools sharp and clean for best and safest performance.
Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
15. DISCONNECT TOOLS.
Before servicing, when changing accessories or attachments.
16. AVOID ACCIDENTAL STARTING.
Make sure the swich is in the ‘’OFF’’ position before plugging
in.
17. USE RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES.
Consult the manual for recommended accessories. Follow the
instructions that accompany the accessories. The use of
improper accessories may cause hazards.
18. NEVER STAND ON TOOL.
Serious injury could occur if the tool tips over. Do not store
materials such that it is necessary to stand on the tool to reach
them.
19. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS.
Before further use of the tool, a guard or other parts that are
damaged should be carefully checked to ensure that they will
operate properly and perform their intended function. Check for
alignment of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and
any other conditions that may affect its operation. A guard or
other parts that are damaged should be properly repaired or
replaced.
20. NEVER LEAVE MACHINE RUNNING
UNATTENDED.
Turn power ‘’OFF’’. Don’t leave any tool running until it comes
to a complete stop.

This

ile Saw is designed to perform cutting jobs on small to large tiles (floor and wall tiles made of ceramic and similar material) which
suit the machine’s size. Do not use this tile saw to cut wood or metal!
This tile saw is to be used solely for its intended purpose.
Any use
other than its intended use is a case of misuse. The user /operator and not King Canada shall be liable for any damage or injury
resulting from cases of misuse. Only suitable tile saw blades are to be used. Do not use saw blades! For this tile saw to be used as
intended, it is also important to observe the safety instructions, the assembly instructions, and the operating instructions set out in this
manual. All persons entrusted with operating and servicing this tile saw must be acquainted with the manual and must be informed about
the machine’s potential hazards.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
FOR TILE SAWS
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND
ALL SAFETY RULES AND OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES.
1. Make sure the power switch on your tile saw is in the ‘’OFF’’ position before plugging in.
2.
Do not leave the tile saw unattended while it is running. Always return the power to the ‘’OFF’’ position when not in use.
3.
Always wear safety glasses, dust mask and ear protection when operating the tile saw.
4.
Always remain alert when the tile saw is in use. Inattention on the part of the operator may lead to serious injuries.
5. Keep children away. All visitors should be kept at a safe distance from work area.
6.
Always keep the blade guard in the down position while operating the tile saw.
7. Disconnect the tile saw from its power source before installing or changing blades and before cleaning or servicing.
8.
Never stand on tool. Serious injuries could occur if the tool is tipped or if the blades is unintentionally contacted.
9. Do not directly wash the bottom of the motor.
10.
Do not force the material being cut. Always let the blade cut at its own speed.
11. Do not force the tool to do a job it isn’t designed to do.
12.
Make sure you use the correct blade for the job you are doing. Only use tile saw blades with a minimum diameter of 6” and a
maximum diameter of 7”, having a 5/8” arbor.
13. This tile saw is equipped with a three-prong electrical plug.
Do not alter the plug or use a two-prong receptacle.
14. Keep your work space clear and free of all debris.
15.
Keep the tile saw clean and maintained to achieve the safest and highest performance for each job.
16. Never use a cracked blade, change the blade before using tile saw

17.
Never cut tiles that are too small to hold and guide into the blade.

Fill the water tray. Make sure the water tray is filled with water so that the tile saw blade turns through enough water

This is
necessary to cool the blade correctly.

GROUNDING
This Tile Saw must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding
provides a path of least resistance for electric current, reducing the risk of electric
shock. This Tile Saw is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding
conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate
outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.
Not all outlets are properly grounded. If you are not sure if your outlet is
properly grounded, have it checked by a qualified electrician.

120V OPERATION

Tile Saw is ready to run for 120V operation. This Tile Saw is intended for use on a circuit that has an outlet
and a plug which looks like the one illustrated in Fig.1.
WARNING!: DO NOT USE A TWO-PRONG ADAPTOR FOR THEY ARE NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL CODES AND ORDINANCES.
NEVER USE IN CANADA.
EXTENSION CORDS
The use of any extension cord will cause some loss of power. Use the chart Fig.2 to determine the minimum wire size (A.W.G-American Wire
Gauge) extension cord needed. Use only 3-wire extension cords which have 3-prong grounding type plugs and 3-hole receptacles which accept
the tool’s plug.
For circuits that are further away from the electrical
circuit box, the wire size must be increased proportionately in order to deliver ample voltage to
the

AUTION: Follow all the assembly & installation
instructions completely before connecting the tile saw to a
power source.
Carefully open and remove all the components and packing materials
from the box.
ASSEMBLING DIAMOND CUTTING BLADE
1) First remove the water tray from underneath the table.
2) Undo the pan head screws (A) Fig.3 and remove the lower blade
guard (B) and lower blade guard plate (C).
3) Undo the hex. nut (D) from the arbor shaft. Use the supplied spanner
keys, one on the flat of the arbor shaft and the other on the hex. nut.
4) Place the diamond cutting blade (F) onto the arbor shaft against the
inner flange (G), note the direction of rotation, the arrows must point
towards the front of the saw.
5) Place the outer flange (E) onto the arbor shaft against the blade and
secure the blade with hex. nut (D) using the supplied spanner keys.
6) Reinstall the lower blade guard plate and lower blade guard.
ASSEMBLING BLADE GUARD
1) Assemble the blade guard (B) Fig.4 to the adjusting bracket (A) using
the lock knob (C) and nylon hex. nut (D) as shown in Fig.4.
For safety reasons, always keep the blade guard in the down position
while operating the tile saw. This will also prevent water from splashing
the operator.
INSTALLING EXTENSION TABLE TO MAIN TABLE
The extension table assembly (A) Fig.6 can be installed on either the
right side of the main table or on the left side. For bevel cuts, it is
recommended to only install the extension table to the left side of the
main table.
1) If you desire to install the extension table to the right side of the
blade/main table, unscrew the pan head screws (A) Fig. 5 at the end
of each round bar (B).
2) Slide the round bars (B) into the mounting brackets (C) underneath the
main table.
3) Flip the tile saw on its side and reinstall the pan head screws (A). This
will prevent the extension table from sliding out of the mounting brackets.
4) To secure the extension table in the desired position, install the 2 lock
knobs (D) to the mounting brackets (C).
5) Unfold the support legs (B) Fig.6 by pulling them downwards, make
sure they engage the notch (C). Adjustable feet (D) are supplied in
case the extension table needs to be leveled.

ASSEMBLY & OPERATION
INSTALLING ASSEMBLED RIP FENCE ON THE TABLE
1) To install the rip fence assembly (A) Fig.7 onto the table or the extension
table, first lift the clamp lever (B).
2) Slide the front and back clamps onto the table, once the rip fence is in the
desired position, lower the clamp lever (B) to secure the rip fence.
INSTALLING RUBBER FEET UNDER BASE
1) Install all 4 rubber feet underneath each corner of the machine base.
Push and twist them into place.
OPERATION GUIDE
1) Make sure the directional arrows on the blade correspond to the
rotational direction of the motor.
2) Make sure the arbor nut is securely tightened.
3) Never attempt to cut more than one tile at a time.
4) Make sure the table surface is clear before making a cut.
5) Let the blade reach its maximum speed before cutting a tile. If the saw
makes an unfamiliar sound or vibrates excessively, turn the saw off and
disconect it from the power source.
6) Never allow the blade to run dry, failure to keep the water tray at the
recommended level could possibly overheat the blade.
7) Allow the blade to come to a full stop before removing a jammed tile.
8) Never cut a tile that is too small to securely hold it against the rip fence
or hold it with sufficient space for the hand to be a safe distance from the
blade.
9) Never make freehand cuts, use the rip fence or the V-push block to
support the tile during any cut.
10) On some tiles with brittle surfaces, it is recommended to cover the cut
line with masking tape.
FILLING THE WATER TRAY
Warning!
Never allow the blade to run dry, failure to keep the water tray at
the recommended water level could possibly overheat the blade.
The water tray is used to cool down the blade. Place the water tray (A) Fig.8
in place under the table and fill it with cold water just enough so that the
blade rim is immersed in water. Do not put too much or too little water in the
tray. Too much water will create splashing and too little may damage the
blade during use. As a guideline, refer to the Maximum and Minimum
indicator lines marked on the lower blade guard (B).
TURNING THE TILE SAW ON/OFF
Connect power cord to power source. Make sure the power source
matches the specifications indicated on the machine nameplate.
Your tile saw is equipped with a safety toggle switch (A) Fig.9. This switch
has a safety key (B) which, when removed, allows the switch to be locked
in the “off” position. To lock the switch in the “of
f” position, push switch to
“off” and pull out the switch key
.

OPERATION &
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Do not service, clean, or maintain the tile saw without first turning off the motor and unplugging
the tile saw from its power source. Failure to do so may result in a serious injury to the operator.
FOR THE LONGEST LIFE AND BEST PERFORMANCE:
Always clean the tile saw after each use.
Wipe off all exterior surfaces and keep the cutting table clean and free of all debris.
Always let the blade cut at its own speed. Do not force the material being cut.
Always check the blade for cracks or signs of damage.
Always clean the water tray thoroughly after use.
Always keep water level at the recommended level. Do not overfill or allow the blade to run dry.
Always store in dry conditions.
• Never attempt to service the internal parts of the motor by yourself for this would void your warranty.
Keep the ventilation slots clean and unobstructed to prevent overheating of the motor
.
CONTINUOUS RIM DIAMOND BLADES
• ONLY USE 7” (180MM) CONTINUOUS RIM DIAMOND BLADES HAVING A 5/8” ARBOR WITH THIS TILE SAW.
Do not use tile saw blades that are larger or smaller than recommended.
Do not force the material into the blade, let the blade cut at its own speed.
Inspect blade before every use for cracks or uneven wear. Discard cracked,
chipped or bent blades.

UTTING OPERATIONS
For straight cuts,
once the rip fence is positioned for the desired cut, place
the material flush against the rip fence then push the material towards the
b
lade. A push block is supplied for this type of operation.
For diagonal cuts, to obtain diagonal cuts, follow the steps for straight cuts
above, in addition the V-groove push block is used. Position the push block
against the rip fence, place one corner of your material into the V-groove of
the push block and you are ready to cut.
For bevel cuts, Loosen the two lock knobs (A) Fig.10 (only one is shown, the
second is located on the backside of the machine) and tilt the table to the
desired angle, you can choose 15

. Retighten the two lock knobs
(A) to secure the cutting table. Install and position the rip fence (B) on the right
side of the table, then place the material face down onto the right side of the
table and you are ready to cut.

Before storing your tile saw
, make sure it has been cleaned properly. To protect
the power cord from damage, wrap it around the power cord wrap posts on the
side of the machine as shown in Fig.11.
