GENERAL & SPECIFIC
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
VOLTAGE WARNING: Before connecting the tool to a power source (receptacle, outlet, etc.) be sure the voltage supplied is the same as that
specified on the nameplate of the tool. A power source with voltage greater than that for the specified tool can result in SERIOUS INJURY to the
user - as well as damage to the tool. If in doubt DO NOT PLUG IN THE TOOL. Using a power source with voltage less than the nameplate is
harmful to the motor.
1. KNOW YOUR TOOL. Read and understand the owners manual
and labels affixed to the tool. Learn its application and limitations
as well as its specific potential hazards.
2. GROUND THE TOOL. This tool is equipped with an approved 3-
conductor cord and a 3-prong grounding type plug to fit the proper
grounding type receptacle. The green conductor in the cord is the
grounding wire. NEVER connect the green wire to a live terminal.
3. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE. Keep in good working order, properly
adjusted and aligned.
4. REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES. Form habit of
checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed
from tool before turning it on.
5. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN. Cluttered areas and benches invite
accidents. Make sure the floor is clean and not slippery due to wax
and sawdust build-up.
6. AVOID DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT. Don’t use power tools in
damp or wet locations or expose them to rain. Keep work area well
lit and provide adequate surrounding work space.
7. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY. All visitors should be kept a safe distance

WARNING: YOUR TILE SAW MUST BE CONNECTED TO A 120V WALL
OUTLET, WITH A MINIMUM 15-AMP. BRANCH CIRCUIT AND USE A
15-AMP TIME DELAY FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER. FAILURE TO
CONNECT IN THIS WAY CAN RESULT IN INJURY FROM SHOCK OR
FIRE.
GROUNDING
Your tile saw must be properly grounded. Not all outlets are properly
grounded. If you are not sure if your outlet is properly grounded, have it
checked by a qualified electrician.
WARNING: IF NOT PROPERLY GROUNDED, THIS TILE SAW CAN
CAUSE ELECTRICAL SHOCK, PARTICULARLY WHEN USED IN DAMP
LOCATIONS. TO AVOID SHOCK OR FIRE, IF THE POWER CORD IS
WORN OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY, HAVE IT REPLACED IMMEDIATELY.
If this tile saw should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path
of least resistance for electric current, to reduce the risk of electric shock.
This tile saw is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding
conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropri-
ate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local

MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: For your own safely, turn switch "OFF" and remove plug from power source outlet before adjusting, maintaining, or lubricating your
tile saw.
WARNING: To avoid electrocution or fire, any repair to electrical system should be done by qualified service technicians. Unit must be reassembled
exactly to factory specifications.
LUBRICATION
The ball bearings in this machine are packed with grease at the factory. They require no further lubrication. All other moving parts should be
sprayed with a liquid lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
Before each use
1. Check the power cord for any damage.
2. Check blade for damage or wear.
3. Check all guards and hardware to make sure they are secure.
4. Check all moving parts for alignment and binding issues.
After each use
Immediately clean the water pump to keep dried debris from sticking to the filter and impeller which will obstruct the water flow. To clean the water
pump, remove the outer cover. Remove the filter. Then, remove the inner cover to expose the impeller. Use a small brush and clean water to
remove any debris on the filter and impeller. If necessary, replace the old filter.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
• If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.
• Using a dull blade will cause excessive wear on the motor, and will not produce a satisfactory cut. Replace with a new blade when needed.
Clean exterior parts, only use a clean cloth and mild detergent to clean the body of the tile saw. Use a wet/dry vacuum or compressed air to clean
the motor ventilation slots.
• Empty all water from water tray before storing. Ice crystals will damage the pump if the unit contains water in freezing temperatures. Store the
tile saw indoors in a dry, frost-free area.
