ASSEMBLYINSTRUCTIONS
1.SetuptheALZO10'lightstandwiththetripodbasefully
extendedandclampedtight.Fullyextendthetopsectionof

thestandandlockitsecurelyinplace.
2.Attachthecounterweighttotheboomarmendwith
protrudingscrew.Tightenfirmly.
3.Thestudioboomclampisa2sectionclampwithseveral
differentdiameter"clampholes"toallowtheclamptobe
usedondifferentdiametersectionsoflightstandsand
booms.
4.UnscrewandremovethelockinghandleonthePARTB
clampsection.Removethewasherunderthelockinghandle.
Donotlosethewasher.
5.Placematchingdiameterholeontothetopsectionofthe
lightstandabout3inchesbelowthetopofthestand.
6.Replacetheoutsidesectionoftheclampoverthelight
stand.Replacethewasher.Screwthelockinghandleonto
theclampuntiltheclampgripsthelightstand.Donotover
tightenthelockinghandle.
7.Adjusttheboomarmbylooseningthelockinghandleon
theclampholdingtheboomarm.Afteradjustmentshave
beenmade,tightentheclampuntilitgripstheboomarm
securely.Donotovertighten.
8.Formaximumstability,rotatetheboomarmandpositionit
overoneofthelegsofthelightstand.Attachthelightfixture
andpowercordtothe5/8?postendoftheboomarm.Wrap
thepowercordaroundtheboomarmandlightstandsuch
thatthecordexitsthelightstandnearthebase.Slidethe
boomarmintheclampuntiltheboomarmisinbalance.To
compensatefortheweightofthelight,asmallcounter
weightorsandbagcanbefastenednearthefixedcounter
weight.
